The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Bradford Cary
I was in town last week and had to find an apartment that day. I had an appointment to see these and, after being kept waiting for 30 minutes past my appointment time, I left. No explanation from them about the delay, and they were not busy at all. I was basically ignored. If I am not a priority when I am looking to become a resident, what would it be like if I actually lived there?
Roaches everywhere, garbage everywhere, a/c turned off in hallway, paper thin walls so you can hear neighbor snoring or people walking above you. The indoor pools (there are three) only worked for 1 ½ weeks the entire year I lived at this place. Management always has some excuse of a “missing part” but it doesn’t take that long to fix anything unless you’re doing it on purpose. A/c is only “broken” during summer. Elevator “missing a part”, sorry it’s broken. We can’t fix anything you ever need fixed in your apartment because we’re “missing a part”. Huh? Isn’t this your job? The worst part is the roaches and hot garbage smell though.
This property has a lot of issues. Mold, ants, horrible maintenance people, pushy lying managers, and more. Don’t rent here.
I’ve lived here two years and have a lot to say. Pool has opened a month late two years in a row. The new management came in late 2022 and got rid of community events, increased rent $100, added a $99 monthly spectrum charge, $30 monthly HOA fee. Currently, the indoor sauna/hot tubs have not worked for 6+ months. They never notify you before starting a project so you could walk into wet paint, bolts & screws all over the floor, or a missing amenity. I’m moving this fall!
I have lived in this apartment since July 1st, 2022 and I feel compelled to leave a review at this point. I will start with the pros. Pros: (1) The location is amazing. You can literally walk to Publix, the bar at Brixx, First Watch or even H-Mart. (2) The amenities are great. The hot-tub and sauna typically work from my experience and its amazing to have. (3) The community is fairly quiet. Additionally, the studios are great for a single person. The layout is pretty awesome. (4) Nick is amazing! The staff is generally really nice whenever you do have the chance to speak to them. Cons: (1) The pest issue is out of control. I did not have these issues when I first moved until around End of December-Janaury (management switched in Nov 2022.) I have dealt with countless waterbugs and what may have been baby waterbugs. I requested pest control several times and it still a problem. I strongly believe I have an infestation. I have yet to hear back from management when I emailed them about my infestation issue. (2) You do pay to live here; therefore, I do expect to the security doors to work. For several months, our side doors did not automatically close behind us and a lot of times, the doors were left wide open. Allowing anyone to come in if they wanted to. (3) My car got broken into while it was in the key-accessed garage, that you must pay for. The garage door was seriously faulty. Anyone could fit through it and walk-in. After a back and forth about revoking my garage access, management eventually got back to me about cancellation but I wish they treated it with more urgency and care. Additionally, I did not see a single email go out warning other tenants. (4) I have seen tenants leave food and garbage in the hallways. Some one dropped blue cheese on the ground and it sat there for 1-2 weeks....This kind of behavior has been frequent. (5) Communication just needs to be better. I have received several calls about my lease renewal but none about pest issues. They are nice people but that doesn't erase the communication problem. Take what you will from this review. I am saddened by the cons because again, the location and layout is great that I wouldn't mind living here again but I can't over look some things. I always try to solve my problems with management before leaving a review but, somethings just can't be left unsaid.
This is my first time leaving a review for an apartment because this whole experience is just not that good. I am evaluating this apartment with a relatively high standard since it calls itself a luxury apartment. I will start with some compliments. I like the overall design of the apartment. Spacious, had an island in kitchen and high ceiling. All new refrigerator and wash machines in the kitchen. Nice lighting in every room. Very nice gym, although the equipments are not very clean. Pools and spa are also nice too. The location is great. You can walk to H mart, Harris teater and a lot of nice restaurant. Those are the reasons why I did not leave a 1 star. Now for what's not good. The first day I moved in, the water smells like rotten eggs. The Fan in the restroom is not working(It is still not working). The dishwasher is not mounted properly and I can literally drag it out. There are snacks left in the drawers of the kitchen. This is the worst move-in I have ever experienced. The floor is so thin that whenever people live upstairs walk, I could hear it. I believe It is normal for most of the apartments in the US but the extent of the noise is ridiculous. The management team give me a wrong mail box number when I move in(I found it by myself. If I am not careful, I could miss a lot of mails). After they finally found my mail box, it turns out it can not be locked. The management team is absolutely unprofessional, ignorant and condesending. For all the issues above. They did not even feel bad or apologize. They think all this is normal and is part of the luxury, which I wish they keep thinking that way.
This place is horrible, dirty, a lot of amenities are always broken. There is roach problem and the Staff is rude and condescending. I don’t recommend this place.
Bradford is an amazing place to call home. From the leasing office staff to the maintenance staff to the location - you can’t go wrong. Everyone is so friendly and truly make you feel like you live in a community. The amenities are the jackpot - I will be renewing my lease without a doubt
From the outside looking in this establishment was flawless. However as soon as I walked in it was downhill from there. I was not greeted by anyone and felt completely lost, AND I SCHEDULED A TOUR A WEEK IN ADVANCE. Finally, when I found someone to help me and give me a tour I was once again disappointed. I was shown multiple rooms, all of which were very small. One of the rooms that was “move in ready” had floors that were basically ruined, scratched all to pieces and bowed planks. I think my biggest issue with this property was the lack of community. So many residents but I was treated like a child and ignored by residents whereas at the other properties I looked at the residents welcomed me as a potential new neighbor. No amount of amenities could convince me to live here. If you are looking for a place to live in this area, as populated as it is in this area, I recommend looking somewhere else.
I am extremely dissatisfied about how I was treated when I walked into the establishment. I was blatantly ignore by 2 employees who were having a conversation. I patiently waited until their conversation was finished. Upon finishing their conversation. I still continued to get ignored, until I finally walked out. I was treated with the upmost disrespect, and did not feel appreciated as a potential customer. I assume employees got paid to work and not to have conversation amongst one another and ignore clientele.
First half of the year was great, Megan and Beverly left and everything has gone down hill pretty quickly. Vanessa is rude on all levels and skirts responsibility whenever possible. Total nightmare to deal with and everyone knows it. False alarm fire alarms. We get so many false alarms in the middle of the night residents are now sleeping through them at 3am, 5am and now 2:30 am. Dangerous/ unclean / un-kept premiss. Our 2 year old picked up a 2.5" double razor blade by the double doors downstairs and sliced up her fingers and hands. Response was - Oh sorry about that. Gross dingy carpets in halls sloppy paint, water in basements and walls when raining, loud crickets gross cockroaches in the basement level and and urine soaked elevators all which seem pretty minor now after my little girl grabbed a razor blade. And please don't give me a "we are so sorry about your experience" bull crap and at the same time hold your hand out for your overpriced "luxury" apartment.
I just stopped by the leasing office for a tour. The office is beautifully done and decorated well. Unfortunately, the level of service that one would expect did not match the look of the property. I waited in the lobby office area almost 15 minutes. The staff did not greet or acknowledge me in any way. Furthermore, another member of staff walked right past me on the way to their desk and proceeded to talk amongst themselves of a personal nature. This is very disappointing, I came as a well dressed professional and did not even get a greeting. Very poor initial impression of such a beautiful property. As an industry peer, that will do “blind shops” I am truly less than impressed.
During our 11 months here, we have had a very good experience. The office crew (Jonathan, Vanessa and Megan) are awesome. They keep us updated on things that are going to occur like fire drills whenever possible (occasionally they haven't been given notice about something and have to send out a notice afterwards), and plan little community get-togethers to let everyone meet each other. Nick J. in maintenance is wonderful - extremely competent at his job and friendly as can be. I always see Kenson maintaining the cleanliness of the complex and he is a pleasure to talk with. I have not had a major issue with anything so far, but any of the little things someone has gotten on it very quickly and so it does not remain an issue for very long. The area is great - I have no fear of walking my dog late at night here (or these days, in the evening when it's already completely dark), you can walk to several restaurants and a few little shops - some across the parking lot, and some across High House or Davis. And if you are up for a little more walking, biking, or just a short drive, there is a shopping center with a Target less than 3 miles away. All in all, this has been one of my favorite places to live, comfortable apartment, awesome amenities (including an endless pool that truly sold us on the Bradford), great service, and a location that can't be matched in terms of access to pretty much anything you could want. I have to say that I highly recommend the Bradford.

I would urge you to think twice before entangling yourself with this company by signing a lease. If you have done so already- good luck. During my time at Bradford, I noticed a pattern of what can best be described as a shirking of responsibilities by management. The NWRcares email that keeps being mentioned in response to negative reviews is a farce. The dog park was closed for “maintenance” for three months starting in fall 2016. This was announced suddenly by a computer paper taped to the door and a lock on the gate. Residents were never given an update on the status of the park, and pet owners were still charged full pet rent each month. When I reached out to Bradford and NWR about this, I received no acknowledgment whatsoever. When I moved out, I discovered the lack of integrity of this company. The day I left (two days BEFORE my lease ended), I called the office to ask about move-out procedures as I would be leaving after the office had closed. The Bradford employee told me I could leave my keys and parking pass on the counter, as I was moving three hours away that night. I was shocked upon getting my move-out statement from Vanessa Caro (at my request only, more than 30 days after I had moved out) to see that I was being charged for overstaying my lease by an extra day, because the keys “were turned in” a day late. This was absolutely false, but no employee would own up to instructing me to leave my key on the counter. Vanessa said when she asked her coworkers if I was told this (because evidently she believed I was lying), she was told a non-committal “I might have said something like that.” What ensued was a back and forth battle for over a week, with Vanessa ultimately telling me that if I would like to have this illegitimate charge looked at by NWR, I was “opening myself up to the possibility” of being charged $4,000 for countertop replacement because they weren’t as shiny as they were when I had moved in. The property manager Jonathan wouldn’t respond to any communication throughout this process, even when the regional property manager requested for him to respond to me and copied me on the email. My move-out story with Vanessa is eerily similar to Laura Hoer’s experience on the Google review posted a month prior. I didn’t appreciate the manipulation and dishonesty, and you won’t either. Look elsewhere. Pretty little details are not worth the eventual headache this place will cause you once you are ensnared in a lease with them.

It's been 2 years since we shifted to Bradford from NJ and everything about this apartments is just "amazing". Not only the people living in this community are friendly and wonderful but also the Bradford employees are very kind and helpful to any concerns whatsoever. I highly recommend these apartments to anyone who's looking for up-scale living in RTP area. - Becca!

I showed up 30 minutes before the office closed yesterday for a tour of a unit and all of the amenities and the office staff displayed stellar customer service skills taking the time to show me around and answer all of my questions. The apartments are amazing and the details put into the kitchen and bathroom are impressive! I have never seen so many fun amenities in one property. The Bradford is at the top of my list in my apartment search to date.

My husband and French Bull Dog, Manny, have lived in Bradford for 2 years now. Since day 1, Nick J. in maintenance has been here. He is ALWAYS pleasant, kind, diligent and a good employee. He has repaired things in the unit for us and never has done us wrong. He does his job well with confidence and kindness. He has all the skills and character that I would want in my employee. It has been nice for us to see his familiar face for 2 years. People have come and gone here, but Nick is solid. I will comment that the existing crew in the office as well and maintenance is the BEST!

Although trash rules are stated, people still leave trash outside their doors all hours of the day and have their dogs bark out the window for hours. I like majority of the residents, but the inconsiderate ones make it difficult to enjoy living here. I will move out the first chance I get.
