Property Ratings at Blue Point Apartments - 121
I lived in building Z which was the perfect place to spend a pandemic. My villa in building Z and the others like it have 2 bedroom, one bath units with attached garages and entrances from the garage to the apartment. As an older lady, this made me feel safer, but turns out I shouldn't have worried. I find Blue Point to be very safe and the neighbors are friendly. There's a walking trail right out the door and Spokane County parks are nearby, including an aquatic center. But back to the apartment: The closets are roomy and the main bedroom is large with plenty of windows. My unit faced east so I got to see the sunrise and my terrace was nice and shady in the hot evenings. The kitchen had plenty of cabinets and was well appointed. Convenient coat closet and room for a boot bench in the foyer for those snowy dog-walks. My unit had a small window facing south that my cat loved to bask in. Some of the villas have vaulted ceilings and still others are accessible with smooth floors and no stairs to hinder access. The management is responsive and the maintenance crew is diligent and hardworking. They are always doing maintenance such as dropping off a filter for the furnace or painting the posts on the carports. I love all the new flowers they are planting this year. I was able to grow vegetables on my terrace and enjoy meeting neighbors in my driveway. Living close to other people means you'll hear them sometimes, but most of the time it was fine. They have a service that comes by every day and makes sure the dumpsters are not overflowing and recycle certain things. The grass is kept neat and there are dog parks on each end of the property, and plenty of access to doggy bags. You'll be close to Waikiki Springs, the Haynes Estate and Riverside State Park, and the Little Spokane River. Plenty of good restaurants in Mead, with Target and Costco within 5 miles. I recommend Blue Point to anyone who wants to feel near nature.

Loved living here! Extremely quiet and felt super safe walking my dog here at night. They had a great trail to walk your dog on the complex. Plus two dog parks!! I am so surprised that a lot of people don't know about these apartments. I tell everyone I know looking for a reasonable price apartment to check them out! Huge master bedroom and huge guest bathrooms were a plus! Appliances were super new too! Staff was very easy to get a hold of and there was always someone at the office during business hours. Maintenance was fast at responding. I love that they offer garages too!

Parking is a joke. If you get a studio you can’t get a covered spot. There’s so many people that don’t have a parking pass. The staff says there’s security, but there isn’t.

The apartment itself was nice, but the overall of the complex is terrible. Parking is absolutely horrible, be prepared to park super far away from your place at times. When we moved out, we scrubbed and scrubbed our already clean bathrooms and kitchen, and come to find out, we shouldn’t have, and the clueless lady who did our walk through STILL marked things as dirty. Maintenance takes too long to come fix anything. And any complaints you submit online (neighbors too loud, etc.) won’t even be acknowledged. If you don’t want to be robbed of your deposit at move out, I suggest not living here!

I moved in in October and the staff was very helpful in choosing among their plethora of floor plans. Pricing is excellent. I've got a garage so parking is a breeze. Most units have an assigned carport or garage so much better parking than typical apartments. I would highly recommend blue point to anybody looking for an apartment.

The office staff is lazy and unknowledgeable about their own apartments. The guy who showed me two apartments didn't know enough about the apartments to even speak to the differences which I found out too late. I was shown two places, chose the larger one, come move in day, find out that the garage and entry way is entirely different in the larger apartment. When I asked he said 'no they are the same' and I asked he open the other one to validate and I was in fact right. Here I am on move in with a truck full of things that I don't even want to begin to unload because I was mis-informed about the apartment from the start. Don't bother calling the office, you will rarely get ahold of someone. 3 out of 5 times the office staff isn't in and you have to wait for them to get back. People park in front of your parking and block you in (but if you park in front of your own place out of the way, you get towed). My vehicle won't even fit in the "attached" garage and because I have an "attached" garage (it is a garage downstairs in the same building), I can't get a carport. Which makes no sense because my truck won't fit in the garage. There is literally 1 parking spot across from my building. The rest of it is assigned parking in the car ports and a row of storage garages (no remote garages with VERY tiny doors). The parking situation is a complete joke. No one has any room to park vehicles so good luck if you have more than one vehicle for your apartment. The parking isn't a situation of park the next building down either, its a much longer walk with the complex being so large. I have only lived here for a month and I already hate it. I would not recommend this place, ever, to anyone. I've already heard the neighbors complain about the college kids who throw parties and throw up off their balcony and it goes down to the neighbors below. This place is not worth it.
