Bloomingdale Woods

They literally BRIBE people for good reviews online by raffling AirPods! Bloomingdale Woods has literally been a living nightmare. From rats and roaches, to constant leaks and flooding, to toxic black mold and horrible management. I unfortunately only found about these things after moving in but have pictures and proof of everything! Please please please do not move into this apartment community. It is cheaper than others for a reason. I was even constantly getting sick from the mold in the apartment and my pets for severe allergies. This place was a living nightmare but I’ll let the pictures do the talking. Management is also coming extremely rude, sarcastic, and unhelpful.

The staff is really friendly and loves to put on events such as parties and charity events. They also try their best to address any needs you may have

I have lived here for over 2 years. This place is awesome!!! The staff is very friendly and efficient when something needs to be done. The location is close to many stores which is a plus. They keep the pool looking great and grounds clean and manicured. Highly recommend this friendly environment to live in.????????

Great apartment, management and everyone in the office is super friendly and helpful. Feel safe and the apartments are comfortable and are well kept compared to others.Also a great area in general and walking distance to pretty much everything, Walmart Publix Walgreens etc.

The staff is amazing! These are great apartments in a great area.The maintenance and office staff are always friendly and quick to respond to such issues. I have loved my time here and will recommend it to others. Love that it’s near everything.

Anywhere you live you are gonna find issues and problems. However Bloomingdale Woods has consistently been there to resolve or fix a problem that I needed fixed. For that reason and it’s affordable price makes it a great place to live. Also it’s in a nice neighbourhood near Natures Way.

Since living here it’s been an amazing experience . Management is prompt to fix any issues and very supportive and detailed oriented . I love the community as a whole very friendly and loving .

The management here is friendly, but terribly unresponsive. They answer the phone 1 out of 10 times and don’t return phone calls at all when you leave a voicemail. I’ve lived here for 2 years and my A/C has broken 3 times. This time they said it would take a week to be repaired and haven’t returned my calls. I had rats in the attic and had to have a pest control guy come into my home twice a week, for 6 weeks to kill all the rats! The windows are single pane and have gaps that allow wasps to come in weekly if you don’t find a way to fill the gaps. And the single pane windows allow tons of noise to come in, including the Daytona Speedway races that happen on Bloomingdale Ave every night when people are trying to sleep. It’s VERY noisy at night. So if you like noise, rats, wasps, no A/C and terribly unresponsive customer service, you’ll love it here.

DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! I have had the worst experience with this place . In the beginning everything was perfect until new management took over. The other day we got a notice that the water would be shut off for two days . The manager in the office promised water would be back on at 4. It’s now 5. I am pregnant and literally shaking because I have not been able to cook myself anything . It’s gotten so bad now my mom is driving here to bring me to the ER. I have called them numerous times and there lack of care and concern just blows my mind. I told the lady “I’m pregnant and shaking rn because I haven’t been able to eat .” Her response is well not our fault we gave you a notice . Excuse me? You gave me a notice for 4pm NOT 5pm. At this point I’ll make sure the hospital sends YOU the bill . I’m also filing a complaint .

This place is an absolute joke! The management is careless and doesn’t care about anything on the property as long as they are getting their rent on time. The apartments are DIRTY and the maintenance is just as clueless as the management. We moved into a dirty apartment that looked like it might have been vacuumed and that was it. There was a black ring around the toilet and tub when we moved in and it took me just lightly scrubbing to get it off so obviously they didn’t clean before we moved in. There are wasps nests everywhere outside and if you ask the maintenance to come take care of it they will just say “oh they’re asleep they wont bother you”. I had to finally get WD40 and kill them myself. Our downstairs neighbor’s dog barks constantly and I’ve complained to the office 4 separate times and NOTHING has come of it. I am losing my mind in this slum and I’m counting down the days until my lease is up and I can escape. DONT BE STUPID LIKE ME!!! FIND ANOTHER PLACE!!!

The management is ineffective and should be replaced. None of the supposed renovations were completed on the apartment. Holes in the door jams where the locks should be. Front door doesn’t open an close easily as it’s not installed properly. None of the windows in my unit stay open and the carpet that they claimed was cleaned is FILTHY and smells of cigarettes. There is a termite infestation on the patio so there’s no chance of using that. NOT TO MENTION THE WATER HAS BEEN TURNED OFF FOR TWO DAYS AND MANAGEMENT IS IGNORING RESIDENTS COMPLAINTS.

I can honestly say that I've had enjoyable experience my entire time here, but even more so since the new staff has taken over in the front office. The maintenance supervisor George is friendly and fast at responding to work orders. The front office is Also very friendly Eddie, Zee and Patti are always professional, friendly and make sure you know that they care about your experience in the community.

I moved into my apartment a few months ago with my two children. The people in the office are very nice, the manager was very helpful and professional. The leasing agent took her time to explain everything within my lease and assured me that she would be there if we needed anything.

We have lived here for 7 months and regret moving here. A few months ago they started renovating our Apartments and for some reason just stopped renovating for about 2 months. There are Apartments that have unfinished paint jobs like ours, there is a few stacks of some kind of concrete blocks that aren't being unused, staircases aren't finished. And if you want one extra vehicle or trailer to park there, forget it. We have had a trailer parked here for only a couple of weeks and its normally gone for most of the day for my Fiance's work and it only takes up one parking space. But now they want it moved because its taking up parking spaces. There is a good amount of parking spaces that is not used yet they are uptight about parking for some reason. Also, if your tags are about to expire for your car, get them asap or else your car will get towed. We already paid for our tags and were waiting for them to come in only within a week when ours expired and our car got towed, and had to pay $200. The only reason I'm giving this a 2 star review is because maintenance here is really great. Very nice workers who are willing to get whatever needs done fast and with quality. We are wanting to break our lease because its so horrible here. Not worth what you are paying for. And the pictures you see online are the apartments that are actually done with its renovation.

Great location. Very close to shopping and the highway. Plenty of sidewalks for walking or running. Management is great. They respond quickly if there is an issue and genuinely care about their tenets.
