The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Bloomfield Orchard
I called in to inquire about an apartment the person that answered was quite rude. Nothing they said was particularly offensive, but they were curt and not helpful. Nothing was available when I called (which is totally fine), but when I inquired "Do you have any sense of when you might have something available?", the answer was a short laugh followed by "No." Then silence. The rest of the call was similar. I get not knowing, but that type of response is not good customer service and its quite frankly not how you build a good customer base. If they were nicer and even if they said it might be a few months before they knew, I may have been willing to wait to explore this option. Given the customer service response, I will not waiting and I will not be recommending this place. Also, we were having reception issues and when I had to ask the person a few times to repeat themselves because of the call quality, they were clearly frustrated. (FYI, I was on a landline and make calls on it all day without a problem.) Even if the issue was me, that is just another example of poor customer service.
Water damage (free water, lots of it) Foundation damage (you can see cracks in wall) Gutters Leak Weak floor beams No agron gas between windows (free heat) In the winter time, ice covers the walk ways, handrails and steps to apartment. Ask to see all three buildings and basement. With water damage, comes bugs Apartment complex was suggested by a Pontiac Housing Employee
Bloomfield Orchard Apartments are less than nice, to begin the parking lot is old and full of pot holes with barely enough room for good parking. It needs to be gutted, completely re-done with freshly painted lines. The management is not customer serviceable nor efficient like they should be e.i. turnaround time for work orders are awful long, and they treat them like they're not important, yet tenants like me are paying my $$ to live here it's extremely frustrating. The manager is very nasty and rude to tenants. I've experienced it personally, as if his job is not to service the tenants, its a disgrace how rude and inefficient he can be. The corridors have awful odors and nasty stains, wall/carpet. They need to actually invest $$ back into the complex to update AND maintain every thing so tenants are happy. I can go on and on SMH.
My apartment is very spacious, and very affordable. Its a quiet area to live in and sits right in front of a nice park where the kids can play. I especially love how heat and water is included. I am not to particular about having to go to the basement to wash clothes or about having to use quarters to wash and dry. The maintenance people are not timely at all, and you especially have to be careful in the parking lot because there are so many potholes.
