Sitting on the north side of Minneapolis along I-35W, Blaine makes a nice, quiet hometown setting for folks who work in the Twin Cities but prefer an apartment in the suburbs. One of the city’s key landmarks is the National Sports Center, an enormous 650-acre complex that houses 50 full-sized soccer fields, a golf course, and the largest ice arena complex in the world.
Less-structured recreation is very popular here as well, with the large Rice Creek North Regional Trail Corridor and Carlos Avery State Wildlife Area just outside the city limits and several smaller public parks scattered around town.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Blaine Manor Apartments
First off trying to communicate and get ahold of management for this building is rediculous. I called to apply for an apartment, months later realized the two numbers listed were not for this building. Once approved I was told I couldnt move in yet due to having to clean up from previous resident. I unfortunately didn't notice as many damages in my walk through as I did the day moving in. I documented every inch of issues. I had noticed a leak about two months after moving in, after looking for the problem I noticed water and mold that was previously covered up under the kitchen sink along with a rotting floor. I notified the residency by phone and letter for about 9 months about this issue to be cleaned up and replaced. I was never called back, no one came in to fix the issue. Finally two months before my lease is up here in June maintenance is finally notified to come look at the leak. I was told by this maintenance personally that they have a lot of these issues and the management does not respond or communicate at all with maintenance or its residence. I am on my last week of living here to finish out my lease and the sink, mold and floor have not been taken care of or replaced. I was hoping when we were notified for an inspection these things would be addressed finally but after two months of paper notices on the doors of the inspections being post-poned twice, they then just never even bothered. Unfortunate along with the poorly run complex for its pricing, the other residence are very disrespectful and loud. Children and adults can be well heard yelling and screaming outside and through out building. lots of garbage and food left through building and outside, results in bug problems. I have had an ridiculous amounts of gnats due to the sink and mold issue along with dead bugs along carpet below the heating vents. I was told this gnat issue was very common and I had to just deal with it being on the middle floor. They died down for about two months over the winter but then started to notice them dead in my freezer and fridge were I don't keep much of anything due to oders noticed when I moved in. I honestly don't believe I have one positive thing to say about this residence. I hope someone does not end up in the same position I had to put myself in, I absolutely do not recommend giving this place a look for there pricing and extremely unacceptable way of treating residence and handling hazards, living conditions in there facinitys.
