The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Black River Flats
Unable to use our bathroom sink for a month because they won’t take the complaint seriously. Still not fixed despited repeated calls and emails. Had gas smell probably 4 different times before they finally fixed it. Did not receive mail for 3 months after moving here because mail box wasn’t set up correctly.
BVW as a company is very untrustworthy and has 0 transparency. They make false claim/accusation and post the letter that says the tenants are in violation of the lease agreement and will be evicted with no factual evidence. Also the construction crew leaves behind their trash everywhere, flying in the grass and parking lot.
They made the walls incredibly thin… can hear conversations upstairs, downstairs, and next door. Was given a termination of tenancy letter and warning based on accusations that were entirely untrue and they could not prove. They claimed we had not picked up our dog waste even though we always have and that they have surveillance(we weren’t aware of them putting cameras up either) of us doing so… but when we called for the evidence, they wouldn’t send it and then proceeded to ask for a picture of our dog to see if we were one of the people not picking up after ourselves…. Everyone with a dog was given this letter and all/most of us have picked up our dog waste. They aren’t running an honest or ethical business and i would not recommend any of BVWs housing.
