Property Ratings at Bellevue West
I wish i had the option to give no starts I moved in September 2024, and from the moment I stepped foot into this place, I knew I had been duped—lied to, misled, and completely taken for a fool! During the initial inspection, I uncovered a laundry list of problems that should have been fixed before I even moved in—dishwasher not working, rusted washing machine, broken walkway lights, door that refuses to unlock properly, patio door that won’t open, bedroom window that won’t lock, ceiling fan broken, bathroom laminate peeling up, and an absolutely atrocious paint job spanning the entire apartment. And that’s just scratching the surface! I was assured all of this would be sorted out—lied to again and again. Six months have passed, and not a single thing has been addressed. The dishwasher wasn’t even repaired — it was simply looked at and left disassembled! My dad had to step in and fix it himself. The ceiling fan, which is essential for comfort, was only fixed after my dad intervened again. The trash left in the apartment and piled on the landing? My dad had to haul it away like it’s his job! Nothing else has been fixed or even looked at. Nobody has bothered to contact me, to give me a plan or even acknowledge these issues—they’ve simply ignored every single report I made. And now, after all of this, the A/C doesn’t work at all—stuck at 80 degrees or more no matter what setting I choose. Who’s responsible for fixing this? Clearly not the management. And just when you think it can’t get worse, they’ve started charging me over $300 more than what I originally agreed upon—completely unjustified. They’ve also hit me with insurance charges despite me providing proof of my renters insurance. How dare they?! The pool is non-functional, half the gym equipment is out of order, and the grounds are a nightmare—trash and garbage everywhere, as if nobody cares at all. Don’t be fooled by the photos—they’re at least 20 years old, and the place is an absolute dump. The entire management team must be either incompetent or deliberately neglecting their responsibilities to rack up cash and rip tenants off! They are unresponsive and completely indifferent to your suffering. Stay far away from this disaster of a property!

I’ve lived in Bellevue West almost a year and they recently switched property management teams to an extremely unprofessional and unproductive company. They only care about their financial gain and will put on a facade for prospective residents up until they sign a lease, then they become impossible to contact- their phone lines don’t work and they won’t respond to emails. The maintenance team won’t respond to requests and won’t answer emergency maintenance calls. If you value your health, then you will mind the mold, roaches, plumbing leaks, code violations, and probably the fact someone got shot and killed on the property as well. Absolute slum lords and masters of corruption.

As a current resident, I wanted to post my experience with Bellevue West. I have lived here 5 years, and even under the new management, I’m extremely disappointed with the service here. My dryer stopped working on November 11th, and despite submitting a work order right away, maintenance still hasn’t come by to address it. I gave them a week before I followed up with the office staff on the status of the work request. The office staff told me they couldn’t provide a timeline for repairs because they prioritize emergency maintenance requests first, and that my dryer not working wasn’t considered an emergency. While I understand emergencies happen, nearly three weeks without even looking at a basic maintenance issue is unacceptable. If you’re considering moving here, I would not recommend it. The lack of urgency and poor communication from the office staff and management team have made living here incredibly frustrating. There are better options out there! I would give 0 stars if I could!

There is no actual ventilation in our bathrooms. We just realized that each bathroom has a hole in the wall, vents no where, it’s just a box hole, where a small fan was put to make it look like ventilation. We kept getting mold and mildew and felt like we had to constantly clean the bathroom more than ever before. I thought the fans were just blowing the wrong direction. Nope, there’s no ventilation. Our dishwasher hasn’t worked effectively since we got here despite 3 service requests.

Absolutely worst place ever! Check your police report and check your review before ever considering this place ! Mold everywhere, air issues and nothing but crime, harassment, dog poop everywhere!!! The maintenance People are a complete joke and do nothing but harass you and office does nothing.

Takes a very long time to get anything fixed. And for nearly a month we didn’t have exterior lights and had to use the flashlights on our phones just to walk to our doors

The apartments are great for the price. There could be better care for apartments before move in. There were very small things that should have been taken care of but obviously overlooked. The property is beautiful and I believe the residents take pride in it as well.

Can’t complain cheap rent and they will fix any issues you have. I put in a work order for a few things and they get on it as soon as they can!

I wish so badly I had listened to the reviews. LISTEN TO THE REVIEWS! They might be ok on apartments.com, but trust me, this place deserves an actual 0. I ignored the reviews because we needed to move fast, and I regret it. Upon move in, our unit was disgusting, unclean (old tooth brushes and towels left in unit even, they literally didn’t even try). Repairs had been made sloppily, with screws laying all over, debris everywhere, etc. that was only the start of our issues. Soon we noticed moldy spots on the walls growing darker. I’ve reported mold in the unit and gotten no response. Then, my ceiling in the kitchen began dripping water, and eventually opened up into a gaping hole. Now today, another ceiling leak in the living room, massive hole developing out of no where. Our AC has not worked since move in. The repair man came, told us to avoid using our main bathroom because of a crack in the tub lining causing the ceiling leak, and never came back to repair it. He also told us our AC unit was just “old”, and that’s why it was 86 degrees in our unit. Has the office done anything about any of these issues?! Absolutely nothing. Not one thing. They actively ignore every email I send. I went to the office and they said they’d “have maintenance on it first thing in the morning”. That was a month ago. We had to purchase our own window AC units just to get the house cooled down to 75. This place is so poorly managed, they literally do not care about your health and safety in the least. DO NOT MOVE IN! If you want to save yourself a massive headache, don’t bother with this place. You will regret it.

I just moved there and I really like the place. I love all the amenities! My dog enjoy the place too! I love the renovation of my apartment and the carport.

Very friendly atmosphere. Love the pool and exercise equipment room for the tenants. Also like the dog park for pets. Very clean grounds. And the patio is perfect for drinking coffee on Sunday mornings. Location is convenient to everything shopping wise.

I love the pool upkeep and the landscaping, maintenance has been a lot better about getting to tickets in a decent time, but I love all of my neighbors and the diversity here

The 3 stars are because of parking. The last few weeks there have been several instances of people parking cars and even Uhaul Trailers in non-parking areas blocking my car in. My apartment is nice, maintenance has always been great when needed and the office staff very helpful. I like living here other than the parking.

So far everything has been great. The pool is awesome and everyone is super cool. The apartment is nice and clean. The parking is harder the later it is but other than that, it's been great.

Maintenance did not clean our apartment before we moved in. There is still mold in the freezer and ants on the kitchen counter. The top and inside of the stove is dirty and the last tenant left dishes in the dishwasher. The bathroom door won't close completely or lock. Maintenance came and unclogged the bathroom sink and bathtub. Did not clean all that was specified. Leasing isn't in a rush to get this taken care for us. And there's no cell phone signal in the apartment. Personal Internet / Wifi is necessary.

Our townhouse is infested with mice and it hasn’t even been 2 weeks since moving in which means they were here before we moved in. I have lost sleep due to how scared I am.
Moved in and it wasn’t cleaned the poor woman in the leasing office had to clean our apartment. 4 days later the cleaning people show up and ask if we still want it cleaned…Other than that nice pool, i love my interior. great for the price
I love it here. Nice, peaceful and friendly. My dog has lots of fun at the park and My daughter loves the pool and fitness center. The country feel is nice and rent is fair.

Great first apartment spot. Fairly quiet, and lots of greenery and landscaping. I wish they had given me more information at move in, especially about amenities/gym hours/etc. I had some minor questions that I then couldn't get answered because it was the weekend.

It’s the perfect spot. You never have to go to far to get to anything, whether it be a gas station, a grocery store, or a restaurant if you don’t feel like cooking. Lastly, I haven’t had any theft problems which is always a plus.

My apartment is fine, not great for the price but not bad. The problem is the roads are terrible, not just bad, but terrible, unacceptable. There are pot holes and broken speed bumps all along the road. I literally had to replace my struts on my car after living here for a year. Who has ever replaced struts on a car? They have tried to fill a few of the holes here and there, but whoever they hired to do, it did a really terrible job. It looks like they went to Home Depot and bought some cement and just dumped it in there. Which actually made it worse. They really need to do something about this. It is a huge problem.

Honestly wish I never moved in here and that I had looked at the reviews before moving in. I’ve lived in many different apartments and this has been the worst. Maintenance has taken a month or two to get most of the request done, one of those was hole in my bathroom floor that you could see under the apartment. I put a request in for my A/C before it was winter and they never did anything for it, and now my a/c still isn’t working and my apartment is warmer than it is outside. I have to call multiple times about an issue and all I get are excuses. I have not been able to fully relax since moving in, we had mold, bug (caterpillars, roaches, spiders, gnats) when we first moved in, whole in my bathroom floor, a/c, dishwasher, washing machine all broken. Not to mention when we moved in the place was so dirty, a huge chunk of linoleum missing in my bedroom. Our apartment was literally left unlocked from before we moved in and people would just walk in.

My experience has been pretty alright! It's not something Im screaming to the mountains but Im also not complaining. I was bothered a lot by the amount of roaches I saw early on. Pest control has been a great help with that. I also found that my electric bill was consistently high, and some of the drafts via doors/windows contribute to that. The staff are pretty helpful when it comes to questions etc. which is a plus. Maintenance has also been handy whenever I have requests. Everyone's experience is different, but it is best to go into it with an open mind!

Its pretty quiet were I stay. Rent could be less. I'm happy with the amenities. Maintence gets back to me when I report an issue. During the warmer months I find big bugs, and opt to have my apartment sprayed for pests to prevent these critters from showing up.

Everyone here has been nice. Maintenance team are a great bunch of guys. It's close and convenient to work and shopping. Food places are pretty close too.

The unit we live in has had no major problems. There is a ceiling damage and leak that we have informed the maintenance about but it has not been taken care of for more than a month. Apart from that, the rest are pretty much well maintained in our unit.

I do enjoy living here. But getting ahold of anyone to do anything maintenance wise is atrocious. There also needs to be some paving or hole filling for all the pot holes.
