Westford was officially incorporated in 1729, after splitting from the neighboring town of Chelmsford. Westford has ties to the American Revolutionary War – Samuel Prescott took his “midnight ride” to Westford – while Paul Revere went to Lexington - to alert the town’s minutemen of the arrival of the British. Revere’s son attended the original Westford Academy in Westford, which is now the town’s history museum.
Today, residents enjoy the many activities that Westford has to offer. During the early part of the year, snow sculpting contests take place – and fall activities include the Family Fun Run and Fall Festival at Kimball Farms. Go skiing at the Nashoba Valley Ski Area which includes seventeen trails and a snow tubing park. Interstate 495 provides easy access to neighboring communities, plus shopping and restaurants at Cornerstone Square.

Property Ratings at Bell Westford
This place looked nice on the tour, but living here has been a different story. It’s a “luxury apartment complex,” but the carpet started peeling off the floor after moving in and we’ve had mold growing on the base of the windows due to drafts and shoddy construction. The mailroom is literally just large piles of boxes that you have to sift through to find your package. They have closed the pool for long periods of time and the elevator keeps breaking down. When it snows in the winter, they tow your car and add the towing bill to your rent, even if you are working or on vacation and unable to move your car. There are walking paths around the place, but we’ve been prohibited from using them by the companies in the office park. The management keeps telling us they are going to address these problems and make improvements (install EV charging stations, fix the mail room), but, despite exorbitant rent increases, nothing changes. It is a convenient location for commuting, but you hear the highway constantly. Wish I had more positive things to add here but at a loss.

For any issues in your apartment, please let us know or enter a service request so we can have our maintenance team address the issues for you. We do our best to keep the mailroom organized, but with multiple deliveries throughout the day it can at times be challenging to keep up. For snow, while we try to avoid towing any vehicles it is sometimes the only option to get as much snow and ice removed after a storm to keep the community as safe as possible. Very quiet, safe, dog friendly neighborhood. Building and grounds are well kept and my pup loves the park! I love my apartment at Bell Westford. Location is great as well- close to pretty much everything you need right on the main road.

I have lived at Bell Westford for 2 years. Absolutely No complaints. Staff is Professional, kind and listens patiently! Maintenance follow up is always within hours, is well staffed, with a knowledgeable Maintenance Team. . Buildings are kept sparkling clean, Pool and Outside areas are well maintained weekly.

Bell Westford has been great. The people are nice and it is very dog friendly. I feel safe here and the people have been welcoming. Bell Westford has been an enjoyable community to live in, with a number of good amenities. Maintenance responds quickly to requests, and I've found most of my neighbors to be quiet and concientious. However, I've found the lease renewal process to be somewhat frustrating, and the proposed rent increases to be aggressive. This is made all the more frustrating by amenities such as the mail room being in poor condition during an entire lease term, making proposed increases seem even more unwarrented.

Bell Westford has gorgeous, comfortable, and spacious apartments with a number of convenient amenities. My time living at the community has been largely positive with my only complaints being the way the mailroom and recycling are handled, and the very high cost of rent.

Bell Westford may look luxurious to an untrained eye, but between the tile cracks, walls that are literally crumbling, poor plumbing, and horrible customer service - don't bother. It's not worth the rent.

Bell Westford is conveniently located and is a fine place to live, but after the initial settling period, some minor issues begin to appear. It's not so bad that renewing the lease is a dealbreaker, but it doesn't inspire loyalty should another complex offer better rates.

Although our move-in coincided with a closed down pool and overflowing recycling bins, the units themselves are very nice, the grounds are lovely, and the people whom we've met have been very, very nice.

Very poor management since Bell Westford took over. They do not maintain the mail room. We have a luxerone system and they are suppose to provide a code to access our packages. After many complaints to management and no resolve I contacted the BBB. Their snarky response was, we don’t have to maintain the mail room because it states that in your contract. They removed a part of the contract that stated they would provide a code for our packages when Bell Westford bought the apartment from Hanover Valley. So now their defense is we can let your packages get stepped on and destroyed on the floor. The luxerone system is suppose to have the package scanned and a code provided and they do not do this. Corporate did not even contact me to resolve it. They merely sent a section of our contract to the BBB to defend the destruction of our packages. We pay for amenities and do not receive them. I would not recommend living here. We would stay longer had Hanover stayed the managers. Also to cover their negative reviews they have “contests” for “positive reviews” on here. They also do not take care of basic maintenance like the HVAC filters. We had no idea they needed to be replaced every 6 months. Our was black and it is a fire hazard. When I complained they manager said “we have to many units to keep tract”. Really? You don’t know how to use excel or keep a list. A very poor excuse for preventing a fire. They also did not build enough garages for everyone. They won’t tell you that on the tour. You have to wait months if you’re lucky enough to get one. This place is run like a corporation and does not feel like a home. They have one thing on their mind ($$) and it’s not the residents.

I love living here the amenities are great and so is the management. I moved here to be closer to family and I downsized to a one bedroom and I couldn't be happier. The grounds are beautiful and they have contest some times with prizes and most recently a food truck get together. Other conveniences its' close to the market, post office and many great restaurants.

We booked an apartment in Bell Westford after going through the information available on the web and taking a virtual tour. To our surprise, this place is better than we thought. The apartment is spacious with really nice electrical appliances. The community is quiet, clean and well maintained. The management staff is friendly and prompt to respond to the service requests. We moved here 1 month back and have not used all the amenities but looking forward to the summer. Playground is really nice and our son's favorite place :) We have enjoyed our stay here so far and do not have any major complaints as such.

I think that Bell Westford is a beautiful and quiet residential community. I recently moved from Princeton, New Jersey. I looked at several communities in the neighborhood of Westford, and I chose Bell Westford because it is nice and private, yet located a short driving distance from from all the commercial facilities and services I need to access.

Management is so crappy they do nothing about noise complaints. Early in the morning there is hammering and banging that won’t stop. The walls are paper thin. You pay more than a house payment to get no sleep!!!!!!!

Ever since Bell Westford took over there has been no management to help with anything. Even corporate won’t return your phone call. So many people move in and out so quickly. You have to dig for packages and walk a long ways just to throw out trash. You also won’t get a garage right away. I had to wait months because they didn’t build enough.

This complex is advertised as luxury apartments. Now, I am asking you: Is smelling marijuana smoke everyday in your unit a luxury? Or Is smelling garbage on the hallways? We are smelling strong weed smoke at least twice everyday, when we are sleeping in the bedroom or sitting in the living room. Every time I get sick because of the smoke. We contacted the management many times over the phone and email. And so far there was no call back from them. Although smoking inside is prohibited in the lease agreement, there is no enforcement from the management!!! No action was taken, even though we notify them multiple times. Additionally, some tenants are really irresponsible. People leave their garbage bags in the hallways. And again we haven't seen any action from the management. Lastly, they don't hold their promises. We are living here more than 6 months now, and they still dont have recycling waste bins. They were supposed to get those soon when we first moved in. So, we basically harm the environment everyday, because of the fact that they don't put a recycling bins in the community.
