This place is not a good place to stay, neighbors are horrible- no respect, maintenance never answer the phone! The front desk staff NEVER answers the phone, they quick to want their rent but not quick to help with apartments concerns. I would not refer anyone here. I CANT WAIT TO LEAVE ! The pool has been closed for over 2 years and the one in the middle is always dirty, filter is broken! Don't let the pictures fool you, it don't look like this at all!!!!
I scheduled an appointment based off of their availability and when I showed up I was told they were not open. Then was only offered a "Virtual Tour". Who on earth rents by virtual tours only?? I told them I had driven over there to physically see the apartment not virtual and that they set up the appointment times not me. They asked that I come back at 10 but couldn't guarantee a tour. If they just did not want to work on a Friday I wish they just said that before I wasted my gas driving there. This was a sign to not live here along with the reviews I am reading. I guess I dodged a bullet at my own travel expense.
Trash EVERYWHERE. Bugs EVERYWHERE. Office is unhelpful. I’ve lived here for awhile and have had 7-8 major leaks into my apartment from neighboring apartments. They won’t come and fix these types of things. The parking lot floods to the point of damaging your cars. I found a bullet casing next to my car one morning. WALLS AND CEILING ARE PAPER THIN And neighbors are LOUD.
Genesis in the office is amazing!! She is always ready to help me and she always has a smile. Maintenance is quick to respond to my requests.
I have lived here two years, I got a new car recently and management is refusing to give me a new parking sticker so my car doesn't get towed without proof of sale of my previous vehicle which I junked. I need to park in visitor parking every day which is horribly unkept with HUGE potholes, nails and glass everywhere. The pool, pond, hallways, laundry room, Park and parking lot are always dirty and dangerous a lot of the time. I have bandaged up all the neighborhood kids at some point because they are getting cut with glass at the park. The pool is so bad we had to buy rec passes to use the city pools. The pond is a actual hazard to humans and animals, (some rare and endangered birds live here). New Management is doing an awful job. And they aren't even trying.
I've been on the first floor alone for two months and now I want to go. Roaches inside the walls, a leak that has the wall badly damaged. The ceiling looks like paper, I can hear every step the upstairs neighbors take, I can hear them talking, and even hear their television. No one has come to fix the wall or see the leak and we have warned for a long time. Smell of cigars. Of 2 washers and 2 dryers only serve 1 and 1. Parking is the worst if you do not arrive before 8-9 you ran out of position. Too many apartments, little parking.
I was set to move in a certain date. The DAY BEFORE i was suppose to move in I called to see about paying my deposit. The manager tells me I can pay it online. Okay, so the day of my move in I was calling them and they finally picked up HOURS later. When I finally spoke to the girl she tells me that my apartment is NOT ready and they took it upon themselves to put me in a different apartment. Mind you I called the day before and no one told me anything. She turns around and tells me that the old tenant turned the key in the day of my move in and they can have a place ready for me Friday. Requested to speak with the Manager and the girl tells me that the manager is off and she will contact me the next day. I decided to drive by the apartment complex and every thing they said I was suppose to get I wasn't getting. THIS PLACE IS SO UNPROFESSIONAL!!!! I requested my deposit back and moved somewhere else. Even after all this when I finally got in contact with the manager she didn't even apologize. Sad part was I wasn't even a tenant yet!!!!! DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL!!!!!!!!!!!
Worst place to live. Infested with roaches ants and termites. If you have someone above you all day and night you heard them walking. To the point it feels like they will fall through the ceiling. The hallways are dirty. Valet trash doesn’t always pick up the trash and you have to pay for it. They take months to do replairs and every time you go in to find out what happened they forget or pretend it’s the first time they heard your issue. Pool is dirty and ducks use it as a toilet. Neighbors are loud. Not enough parking unless you paying for a reserved spot.

I was trying to leave a compliment for the maintenance staff, manager, and assistant manager. I have lived here for almost 8 years and think the current manager, assistant manager, and maintenance staff are the best. Maintence is done in a timely manner, work is completed well with no short cuts. They do what is needed to correct the problem. Lily, the manager and Jose, the asst manager are awesome. They know the people in our community. Always trying to keep the community looking good, always willing to address any concerns and totally on top of keeping the community kept up. Love the fact that plan community events...ie pictures with Santa for the kids, community yard sale and just stop by and day hello, etc. Yes my rent has gone up over the past 2 years since I began living here but can see the positive changes and how much better the property is kept up. Anita is another person deal with a lot in the office and she is always friendly and willing to help. Hope the owners of the property realize what an awesome team this property has right now and continues keep them here at this property.
I lived there for 3 years and I have witnessed this place rapidly decline. There is mold on the inside and on the outside of the building.The apartments had a tent placed over it less than a year ago and the termites have returned. Living in this complex is a health hazard.
In 2014, I was looking for an apartment that was spacious. My family situation changed and the extra space was very necessary. I came across Belara Lakes (formerly Fountain Bridge) Apartments, and at 1st glance I was impressed by the size of the apartments and the price was right so I decided to move in. Everything seemed great, until the 2nd night when the realization that the walls were paper thin and the floors were not insulated kicked in. I can literally hear everything going on upstairs, so clearly in fact, that a cell phone on vibrate can be heard. Additionally, certain maintenance requests have taken up to an entire week to be completed, sometimes I have make the request a 2nd time. These concerns have been regular items expressed to the leasing office by multiple tenants on a daily basis. The impression that I always seem to specifically have after voicing my concerns is that they just don't care. There was even one occasion where the Property Manager specifically stated "If you don't like it here, you can always vacate the premises". At that point I knew that this property wasn't for me. Unfortunately, due to financial circumstances I am forced to sign another 12-month lease here and I am unhappy about that reality. Unless there is no other alternative, I strongly advise against moving into this apartment complex. When I vacate I am never looking back.
Belara lakes apartment are a joke they have a roach infestation an the property manager Gladys is rude uncouth an very unprofessional don't waste your time take it from a resident
Building is older... Biggest problem is occasional bugs, due to age and weather change. Staff keeps up on maintenance, and neighborhood is nicely secure. If u rent here do nothing smaller than the townhouse.... most of apartments are remodeled
Nice but to loussie and not as big as the one in doral oaks
