Foster City is home to several large corporate offices, but its central location in the Bay Area puts it just minutes away from San Francisco, Oakland, and Silicon Valley, making it a great rental option for commuters—positioned right at the foot of the San Mateo Bridge, even getting to the other side of the bay is easy.
Recreation on the water is quite popular among the locals, with extensive waterways making life easy for boaters and the frequently-windy conditions on San Francisco Bay drawing windsurfers and kite surfers (those who enjoy nice views of the bay but prefer to stay dry can take advantage of the Bay Trail for walking, running, or biking). Property Ratings at Beach Cove
We regret moving here. What you get for the high rent: rude management, cold showers, loud vibrating walls anytime other apartments run water. Daily grating noise and smells from construction in units, parking lot and grounds. Amenities are shared with other complexes. There's one waterfront bench for 400+ units. Careful where you step - the lawn along the water is a goose toilet. Overall the quality of life here is low.
Not a big fan of management. Renewal are more expensive than new tenant.
