Lived here for about 4 years or more now and I love it ! Star is friendly and maintenance is fast to fix anything . I feel safe and I love the amenities.

I lived at BS for 2 years and I have nothing negative to say about them. The maintenance is a 10 star which is unusual.They respond quickly and do an excellent job. Most are well known by the residents. The front office is very professional and friendly. There is NO noise, NO trouble of any kind. I would highly recommend living here.

not sure why there isn’t any reviews about the roach problem but our apartment is infested with roaches. we have complained and they sprayed, 2 weeks later they’re back. there’s roaches literally everywhere. in the bed, in the shower, crawling on the walls, roach eggs. i don’t think there is a better reason to not live here. nothing they have done has fixed the problem they seem to not care

I don't mind living in this apartment complex, however, the staff is quite unprofessional. I would not recommend my friends to live here due to the staff and other residents who live here. The only pros are the moderate rent prices and location. Maintenance here is subpar, but at least the maintenance staff is friendly, unlike the office staff. I also was fully lied to about the price of rent, as I was told they were running a special at my move in time; however, I was never granted any discount on rent as they promised and no further mention of this special was heard past our initial phone call. I see a few good reviews for this complex, however, they are from years ago, and I have not experienced any of the positive attributes they speak of.

These apartments are in dire need of remodeling. The carpet is very old and smells like a wet dog. The bathtubs are scratched and embedded with mold that straight Clorox won't put a dent in. There is rice painted on the kitchen shelves - they did not bother to wipe off the shelves before applying the last coat of paint. The dishwasher is worthless. There is no garbage disposal in my unit. You can clearly hear the neighbors use the bathroom. When you look before renting, the AC is on very cold so you won't notice the nasty smells that make themselves present when you set the unit to a reasonable temperature. Suffice to say, if you love living in filth, you will love this place.

We don't live in an apartment we live in a home. Office management is very sweet, respectful, considerate. They are always willing to help and treat you like family!!! Maintenance is very much on top of it, they are very considerate, and hard working. The landscaping is beautiful, always well kept. Pools always well kept. Really convenient location! If you want a home experience and not an apartment feel, Bayou Shadows is the place.

This is the 2nd time I live at this property. The apartments are very spacious and this is a great, central location. I like that the bedroom is the only carpeted area. The staff and management are very friendly and attentive. Had one issue with my garbage disposal that was attended to within a couple of hours. Covered parking at my front door. Just renewed my lease for another year and hope to be a tenant for many more. Oh, I live on the ground floor and my LUS bill is less than $40/monthly.

Bayou shadow apartments is a quiet, friendly complex! It's filled with all different kinds of people, college kids, married couples, even cat lovers. The pool is clean and fun to hangout around. The complex workers are so friendly and the maintenance is never late! I love this place and would recomend it to everyone!

I have had a great experience living at Bayou Shadows Apartments for the past three year and counting. Being a working college student, I needed a safe and affordable place to live without being too far from ULL campus. Bayou Shadows ended up being the perfect place for me. It is within walking distance from SLCC and Cajun Field. They have many floor plans available to choose from. I feel very safe here because I know that a few police men live in the complex. The staff and maintenance crew are friendly and attentive, and always come as soon as I call if I ever have a problem. I would highly recommend Bayou Shadows Apartments to anyone looking for a great place to live.

Since we've moved in we have had a couple of issues but have had speedy service when it comes to fixing them!!! We love Bayou Shadows!!

Property is excellent I must say very detailed on there information kind and helping out of the places I've looked at in Lafayette this one is the best and must I say I would be a happy tenant here!
