Property Ratings at Bayfair
Always dirty, the dumpster is always filled to the brim. Stairs are dirty and even the laundry room. The washers are always out of order. I don’t see how people still decide to move here after seeing the state of this place. People drive super fast through the complex. The neighbors are loud as hell late at night with no consequences whatsoever. This place has gone downhill so fast. I don’t recommend anyone living here. Not worth it.

They have roaches I been here 6 days I asked was there any roaches rodents or anything in the Category Then the apartment we was originally going to move in was gave away after paying 350 holding deposit the apartment that we had to move it so we didn’t lose the money wasn’t complete for move in four holes were in the wall The cable connections are on the outside of the house with a big hole through the wall the counters are not completely finished the garbage disposal was broken And much more
My wife and I lived here from late 2019 and mid 2021. Pros: Peaceful, gated and safe. Management, despite heavy turnover, is mostly responsive. Bus stops are 2 mins walk and Bayfair BART is a 10 min walk. Residents are pretty private and quiet for the most part. The lawns and common areas are tidy and well maintained. Plenty of guest parking. Cons: No Air Conditioning, so for a few weeks in the summer we were roasting. Fixtures and appliances are a little older, our garbage disposal wouldn’t work as intended and ended up flooding our downstairs neighbor’s kitchen sink a couple of times. The walls and floors are thin, we were on the third floor and our whole living room shook a little when someone walked across it. Occasionally there are people that blast loud music in their vehicles regardless of day or night. A few loud dogs as well, that for some reason the owners decide to walk within the apartment especially really early in the mornings. The area around especially towards E 14th isn’t great. A few homeless folks are always around, so being gated gives a sense of safety. Overall I would recommend this place if you need an affordable and safe space with access to BART and other public transport.
All the staff here from the office to the maintenance crew are genuinely friendly good people. Complex is kept clean.
Been living here for about 3 months now and everything has been great. No issues with noise level and the complex is maintained very well. They clean after every tenant leaves and we were lucky enough to get new flooring and appliances because the previous tenant has been in the room for so long. Very nice location, close to the mall (although we rarely go there...), farmers market on Saturdays, and right off 880/580 so extremely convenient for commuting.
This apartment is great to stay, you will feel safe, its gated and everyday there's a patrol. Friendly neighborhood and also people who works here too. Clean and very quite.
I have lived here since 1997 and I have seen such an improvement in the physical condition of the place, the upkeep and cleanliness of the common areas - especially the laundry facilities, and the attitude of the employees onsite. Instead of being a noisy and almost shabby complex with broken down vehicles in the parking lot and trash and litter all over the place, it is freshly painted, well maintained, and very quiet. The staff is very respectful and pleasant. And I am very proud to have visitors now.
