We have been renting at Bay Village Apartments for nearly 4 years and our experience thus far has been amazing. From the maintenance crew to office personal to management - all have been wonderful. This community is quiet, peaceful and a pleasure to call home!

Our apartment wasn’t ready till 8 days after the first day of our lease. Management responded with an all-caps, very rude email when we asked about our unit not being ready. Cupboards are sharp and cut our hands/fingers. Dumpsters are almost always overflowing. Security is abysmal. The front gate is almost always broken. Bay Village told us they don’t have to provide security. Someone was shot and killed in the guest parking lot over a year ago. Management is garbage. Maintenance workers are all good people and do good work when they show up. We’ve lived here for over four years and cannot wait to leave. Rents are incredibly high for units and service of this quality.

We have enjoyed living in Bay Village for over ten years, and intend to continue to do so. It is a very comfortable and safe place to live. The pool and gym are definitely a plus (our grandchildren love to visit us here). It’s a pleasant walk to the lookout where the views and sunsets are so beautiful. The management and staff are always friendly and accommodating.

Peaceful, fully updated unit, moved in two weeks ago. Loving it. Neighbors are all nice, quiet. Maritza and Mary are great! Was worried after reading some bad reviews but not finding any issues. So glad Bay Village was my choice after relocating from Berkeley!

If you get lucky they're alright apartments, if you get unlucky they're terrible Constantly my downstairs neighbors: play music so loud it shakes the floor, play music from 6 pm to 6 am, break things and scream in the middle of the night. The office says call security, when you can get through to security most of the time it doesn't even seem like they send someone out, let alone report it to the office. Not that the office would do anything even if they did report it. Best I got was the office telling them to knock it off and 3 beautiful nights of sleep, before they started up again. Combine this with the shoddy workmanship, the doors either don't close right or don't close at all; the positively shitty view of a tree in front of the water, and dear god the overflowing trash everywhere and I'd almost rather be homeless. At least sleeping in my car I could sleep.

The maintenance is slow to respond to maintenance issues, staff does not have a since of urgency when it comes to customer service and all the dumpsters are not dumped regularly especially the one near the exit gate. Definitely not worth the money they are charging.
For weeks on end in December 2018, there was no removal of trash or recycling which attracted rodents and other animals to the area of the dumpster. Mold growing in apartments and they will refuse to address it. This place is a health hazard; stay far far away. The girls that work here are so RUDE. Pictures online or not reflective of what the place actually looks like.
Lived here 4 years they don’t fix anything. Don’t clean carpets than if you late one 2 weeks they want to makes you pay lawyer fees even when you not at reason that your late. They don’t have a kids play area, poor security. A tree fall on my car a couple of years again they didn’t do anything, than this year car window got busted an my things stolen. We pay to much not to be safe this is my last year as a tent. Husband car covers got stolen 5 or 6 times.
The location of this place is great. Is is close to transportation (ferry building less than 10 minute drive, bus stop right around the corner), the I80, and close to shopping and restaurant areas. The views are beautiful and the property is well maintained. The amenities, both in unit and community, are wonderful. The staff so far have been very easy to work with. This apartment complex is fantastic.
Bay Village is a good place to live - near water and well maintained
This is gated community is a large cluster of two-story buildings, each containing four to eight apartments. It is dog friendly, with disposal stations located throughout the property. It is nicely landscaped, with lots of trees, and has a lookout/BBQ area with beautiful views of the bay. Behind the leasing office there's a pool, spa, gym, lounge, and another BBQ area. There's assigned parking in carports and plenty of unassigned parking as well. The staff is always very friendly and helpful, and have even arranged a few fun resident dinners. There's also a school and a park right across the street from the property.
It is such a peaceful community, and I am able to get a lot of work done at home, which wasn't the case at my previous two residences.
Grounds are well kept! Staff is professional and friendly! I absolutely love my view of the water!
