The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Bass Lofts Apartments
Would recommend living anywhere BUT here. Reasons as follows: 1. Mid-March through April 2023 we had issues with water entering our apartment repeatedly and at several points of entry. When asked for resolution, we were astounded by the lack of caring and lack of offering of a serious resolution. We were even told that for the damage of our own one-of-a-kind goods, we should use our own renters insurance (instead of them being held accountable for their negligence). 2. When we moved in, the place was absolutely FILTHY. I've never seen an apartment left in such condition and there was a thick layer of dust on every ceiling fan that we had to request multiple times to be cleaned. There was also a broken window that we had to remind them to repair for a month. 3. We lived in the gym building and you can hear EVERYTHING between those walls. So all screaming children, parties, etc. disturb the peace. 4. The upkeep of the old buildings (particularly the gym) is a mess. We were locked into our apartment one morning because the handle broke. There was no other way to exit, which could have been a serious emergency. On that note, their "emergency" response window was never actually achieved and we would wait hours for responses. 5. Several times we did not have packages delivered because nobody was onsite to buzz them in. My understanding is there was a set schedule for front desk staff, but there were several instances where they were not present in those hours. The list goes on, but living here was one problem after another. When things were escalated in the management company to the regional level, the lack of compassion for tenants was even more astonishing.

I lived at Bass Lofts for 12 amazing years. The reason I left was because I got a new job outside of Atlanta, and I needed to live closer to work. It was sad to leave so many great friends at Bass Lofts. Bass Lofts is a community of artists, creative professionals, and some of the most interesting folks you'll meet in Atlanta. I was constantly being inspired by my neighbors and their work. Collaborations between neighbors is frequent—I found myself working on projects with folks at Bass all the time. What you need to know about Bass Lofts is that it is extremely community oriented, so it's vital that you be an active participant and get to know your neighbors. It's the kind of place where everyone knows everyone, folks knock on doors to borrow a cup of sugar, and neighbors invite you in for a drink. There are frequent resident events that help you meet folks who live there. The spaces around Bass are beautiful. You won't find an apartment complex in Atlanta that has as much green space as Bass Lofts. Although the complex is in the heart of Little Five Points, Bass is an oasis of calm. Management is great. Shawn, the property manager, is a wonderful human being. He was always very kind and helpful for me. There was never an issue with maintenance requests, because management was always on top of fixing things. What you put into Bass Lofts is what you will get out of it. If you are willing to participate, get to know your neighbors, show up at community events, and make new friends... you will love loving here.

Matt, we were delighted to have you in our community for 12 years! Thank you for sharing your outstanding review of our team and property here at Bass Lofts Apartments, this feedback makes our day. We wish you all the best in your new endeavors!
I cannot say enough good things about my experience when choosing to move into Bass. I took a physical tour of the property and was very impressed with their Covid protocols. The whole property was very well maintained and the tenants were so friendly. I love how well the kitchen renovations in the classroom building blend with the historical nature of the property. Christian in particular was amazingly helpful, personable, and always answered emails quickly. He made every step, from initial contact to lease signing, easy and stress-free. My daughter and I cannot wait to move into our new home :)
Ive lived in a lot of places - cities, apt complexes, resident communities etc. By far my favorite to-date!! The staff is excellent. Very attentive and just all around good, kind people. There is a sense of urgency and not like an oh well get to it that Ive dealt with in past complexes. The staff remembers everyones faces and even their pets. Its not just your typical apt management but the team makes it feel like a Community. Whenever theres an issue things are addressed very quickly. And there always transparent about an inconveniences. I personally like resident portal and being able to do everything online. And lastly, its quiet! I hardly ever hear any of my neighbors which is hard to come by in an apt complex. Rare gem indeed. I probably wont leave this place until Im ready to buy/ own. Seriously!
Fantastic location with unique floor plans. The best apartments in the city hands down.
This place is incredible. Unique apartments in the best part of the city.
Unique, well-maintained, great amenities, they're always looking to improve as well. Very pleased with the property.
Our experience at Bass Lofts has been phenomenal. We love our apartment, the staff, the amenities, and the location. Overall very satisfied and have already recommended Bass Lofts to friends!
I love the view from my windows! Especially when it rains, it's so beautiful.
In the center of Little Five Points, Bass Lofts has attracted a diverse collection of residents who genuinely care for one another and the neighborhood around them. The sense of community is strong here, partly due to the nature of the buildings themselves - the school hallways and common areas are unique in apartment living, as are all of the diverse floor plans. Events and parties hosted by management (and spontaneous gatherings by residents) round out the social calendar on property. This is by far the friendliest community I have lived in.
