Tucked in the northwest corner of Cook County, suburbs such as Hoffman Estates, Palatine, South Barrington and Schaumburg vary widely in personality and composition. Schaumburg, the largest in population, is home to Ikea and Woodfield Mall, the largest mall in the Chicago area. Palatine, developed on a wooded marshland, comes in at a close second in size. Hoffman Estates, while smaller, is the most densely populated of the four suburbs and is home to AT&T's Midwest headquarters and Sears Holding Corporation. South Barrington, tiny in comparison, and arguably the most affluent in the area, is home to the famous mega church, Willow Creek Community Church.
Heavy traffic can double or triple commute times, so area locals know to check the highway reports before leaving home. Normal drive time into the city from this area is about 30 minutes via the Interstate 90 tollway. An easy 20 minute drive will take residents to O'Hare International Airport.

Property Ratings at Bartlett Court Apartments
I have lived here for two years and for the most part it was good, but I have one issue. The kitchen sink is always bubbling up with water and suds and never gets repaired. It just gets cleaned out. I have been dealing with this for two years. The pipes are old is what I have been told. (Shouldn't they then be replaced?!) For the cost of the rent it should more than just a band aid fix. Future tenants my advice is ask for a unit above first floor or you will regret it!

Rent is too high, laundry room rarely ever works (as of right now two out of four washers are working and 1 out of four dryers), my storage unit is full of some random persons stuff, random people with no parking sticker will park in the parking spots leaving none open, the management is barely here and they don't care about their attendees, water occasionally doesn't work, people sit out side and drink bear all day, i can keep going on. ive been here for a while and this place has really went downhill in the last couple of years.

Over the last 7 years I have moved from one year lease to one year lease, and this community is by far my favorite I have lived in. The people and families here are extremely nice, the space has been great to live in, and the support has been amazing. I am moving out of state to pursue a new job opportunity, but if it weren’t for that, I absolutely would have stayed here for the foreseeable future. You guys are doing a phenomenal job, especially compared to several other communities I have lived in over the years. Whatever you’re doing, keep up the good work. Spaces like this are hard to come by.
The property is nice, the place is bright, I have good neighbors. The new manager is having better people move-in and making the condition of the property better.

For being my first apartment to rent this one has been great so far. Matinence and the Main office are efficient and get things done in a timely manner. I had no problems getting my dog approved for the building and moving in was very easy. Pricing is very reasonable as well. Defiantly kept clean in the hallways and neighbors are quiet and respectful. Highly recommend to rent from here!
