Property Ratings at Banyan Bay
When I first moved in they moved me to another apartment that was exactly the “same” as the one shown to me when i came for a tour. It wasn’t. The bathroom wasn’t even up to date and looked old. Also i noticed there was black marks on the ceiling by the air vents in the living room and then over my bed in the bedroom. Didn’t think too much about it till now that it’s gotten worse and it’s mold! I’m pregnant and this is not sanitary. Even if i wasn’t who would want this in their apartment?On top of that they moved me into this apartment with holes not even patched which all these disgusting roaches are coming from. I’ve read reviews from 3 YEARS AGO AND THEY STILL HAD A ROACH INFESTATION. Another thing is that the gates RARELY ever works. I’ve had random people vandalize my door, bang on my door for no reason and disappear and people have been robbed. I can’t tell you how many times the police have been here. I wouldn’t recommend it if you have kids or not because i’ll tell you right now I don’t feel safe at all. This place looks like a ghost town with trash in the parking lot, over filled in the recycling bins, main trash and dead grass all over. Save yourself your money and time. It’s definitely not worth it

Believe me you don’t wonna leave here if I can I would give 0 star they wonna take your money for everything! The maintenance is a joke. I had to live 5 months without use my w&d because if I did my power blowed off then I had to sleep with no ac working, and I still needed to pay the w&d tax every month and when I needed a gate sticker for my car they would charge $60. I still live here but believe me when I say that when my contract is done I will never step here again!!

I am a current resident and all they do is fix the outside including pool area and leasing office to attract people to move here. The ONLY advantage is turnpike but they now have alot of other apartment that was recently build around the area. Please DO NOT be fooled the entire property need to be rip apart!!! They have big roached and mold in apartment all maintenance do is cover up by painting. They show you the renovated apartment but you dont see the real deal until you move in. I have no reason to lie here. I am just waiting for my house to be ready and I will be out of here. I stayed too long in this disgusting apartment. Maintenance do whatever they want and the office cover it up. You will be waiting 2weeks before they com and fix anything in your apartment. I suggest you take pictures incase they try to be slick and cover they mess. DO NOT MOVE IN HERE YOU WILL REGRET IT! Leasing office and pool area is much better than the apartments and that gate is forever open. Not a safe environment at all for your family especially kids. BANYAN BAY NEEDS TO DO BETTER!!! When you ask to speak to corporate you can't get noone the leasing office tell you lies. If corporate reads this their number need to be available to resident incase we have concern and need to take our action a step further. If you like to live in a mess you are more than welcome to move here.

Not sure if I saw a different member of the staff than the previous review but I went to the property to see 1/1 apartments available and from the beginning, the woman there was obviously annoyed. When I asked if I could see a model, she said it “depends on what model”. I told her it didn’t matter to me, I would see what was available for the time frame I’m interested in. She then said “depends on how much you want to spend”. By then I was over it, but entertained her ignorance and gave her my price range to which she said they don’t have anything within that range. I just walked out because I was blown away by how rude she was. Good luck! She just seemed lazy and mean.

My husband and I were very happy with the tour we received at Banyan Bay last week. I have to say that Sujey was very nice and gave us a tour around the property and answered all of our questions and concerns. She was really helpful and very professional. Even the maintenance staff seems really friendly and nice. The property is really nice and the renovated apartments are spacious! We are definitely considering this property!

I lived there over two years ago. I am warning people because my apartment had black mold in the air unit. Their solution: spray a crap ton of bleach from a spray bottle into the coils. I'm writing now because here I sit two years after all my sinus problems started, and going on my second surgery to allergic fungal sinusitis from mold exposure. I have pictures of the ac unit and a video of maintenance in my unit spraying away bleach water.

I've lived at Banyan Bay for almost a year and can say that I was swindled by the great reviews on this page. Please do not be fooled by them. Not only is there a massive German roach problem in my apartment but the front gate has been locked a grand total of two times in the last nine months that I've lived here. The management will say that they fix or are having things in the community fixed but that isn't true. Getting anything fixed in the apartment is a mission and there is a great deal of turnover in the front office. On top of that, I just received notice that the management plans to raise my rent when the lease is over by about $85 dollars per month. Unbelievable. Find somewhere else to rent because they will say anything to get you through the door.
My apartment at banyan bay is home to me! It's right by the turnpike and 95. Convenient stores and groceries in every direction. Whenever there is something wrong in the apartment they guys there are fast and get the job done.
Very roomy rooms and updated apartments. Two seconds to the turnpike and 15 mins to the beach. Quick repairs and the grounds are very nicely kept.
Banyan Bay is such a great place to live! It has a neighborhood feel and is kid and pet friendly. You can take long strolls along the sidewalks under great shady trees which are everywhere keeping you cool in the hot summer. The landscaping is gorgeous and well maintained. There are 2 ponds with fountains, ducks and a peacock lives here too!. There are 2 big swimming pools and an exercise room. As a pet owner myself I love that they have 2 fenced-in dog parks that let my dog run free whenever he wants. they also supply puppy pouches and dog waste stations everywhere. There are 2 laundry facilities although most apartments have laundry in the unit. You are right at the Turnpike entrance making north south travel a breeze. You are also steps away from stores, restaurants, banks and schools. The staff could not be friendlier. the rental rates are very reasonable. I am so happy I found Banyan Bay and have made it my home! Come and see for yourself. You won't be disappointed.
Last year I moved to Banyan Bay after owning a home for many years. Banyan Bay was my first choice in a new place to live. I have known people who previously lived in the community and it was always a nice place to visit. I really love the community. It is nice and peaceful and the grounds are well kept. I get so many compliments from people when they come to visit me. The layout of the apartment is great too. The staff have always been helpful, nice and friendly. I would definitely recommend Banyan Bay to anyone who is looking for a nice place to live!
Banyan bay is very convenient for our needs. Its 8 minutes away to some of the best daycare around the area, 10- 15 minutes to great eateries, 15 minutes away from the beach. There is also a community playground .5 miles away with different spots offering and a dog park. The complex has lots of trees for shade and plenty of room to walk your pet. The apartments have just been updated and they look great. They are spacious and well laid out. Oh and lets not forget about the maintenance staff, they are fast and keep up with anything your apartment needs.
The apartments here are nicely sized. The bedrooms and walk-in-closets are spacious and perfect for me, because I have a lot of clothes and require the extra storage. It is peaceful here most of the time, with the exception of pool parties on the weekend, but the neighbors are respectful of the time. The staff is responsive to any requests. The gym could be upgraded, but it'll do for the basics. Two pools on the property as there are many tenants, makes swimming a delight. They recently renovated the parking lot, which is great. The landscaping happens a couple times a week, so the grass is always cut and the trees always trimmed. I do enjoy my apartment here at Banyan Bay!
Will Definitely recommend. Quiet, clean, great staff.
It is a nice complex but people do not respect property, the gate system is always down, and the parking can be a real pain.
The location of this apartment building is great. You are in between everything. Shopping, major highways, schools, parks and malls. Great place to live if you are an upcoming family.
