Canton is a harborside neighborhood centered around O’Donnell Square Park that’s surrounded by lively sports bars, gastropubs, dessert shops, and seafood joints. Seafood is even more popular along the busy waterfront promenade, where you’ll find crab shacks, oyster bars, and New American restaurants. This bustling neighborhood sits on the Patapsco River across from the Fort McHenry National Monument. Residents enjoy visiting Canton Waterfront Park for its pristine grounds, waterfront views, and access to the ferry. Although there is plenty to do without leaving town, the Shops at Canton Crossing sit just outside of Canton, offering residents a great place to shop and dine. We stayed there last year for over a month while my wife had a medical procedure done at Johns Hopkins. The apartment was very well furnished and equipped for extended stays. I would definitely use them again.

First, we chose a different apartment in the building because it had a lower price. However, we were later informed that it was a mistake and that the apartment was already occupied. As a result, they offered us a different apartment with no sunlight at a higher price. Since we were in another state, we accepted the offer virtually. It was a terrible experience. Additionally, the building materials were of poor quality, and only the common areas were nice. Our car was fined $500 in the parking lot because we forgot to update our license plate information in the app after getting a new license plate. Furthermore, the suite was infested with flies. I do not recommend it.

Great location with good amenities (when they are working). Be prepared to hear everything from the apartment above you, from footsteps to their shower running and toilet flushing. Heat and A/C are both extremely loud when they kick on, and you will most likely have to purchase a dehumidifier on your own for their summer.

This is not a luxury building!! Do not be fooled by the reviews left by employees of the Wood Property Group. I have yet to talk to a single tenant who is pleased with the building. Theft is a regular occurrence here. Oh and make sure if you do move in you install a camera. The property group will enter your home without approval.

Absolutely love this building. The fitness center has everything I need and then some! the Pool and other amenities are just as nice. The leasing agent Marion was very pleasant and knowledgeable.

Great facility, but poor management. Elevators break every week but the message is “take the stairs.” Pool is beautiful but randomly closed without notice, including Labor Day! And all management communicates about consistently is rent. So I’d look elsewhere.

We offer 4 elevators at our community in addition to 4 stairwells, to provide convenient access to your apartment home in the event there is an elevator outage. We appreciate the pool feedback as well, and have communicated concerns to our management company, who has experienced staff shortages impacted by COVID-19 that unfortunately impacted closing the pool for a few days at the end of the season. We have stressed the importance of providing adequate notice of closures and the importance of the amenity being open as advertised. I viewed about 6 other apartments prior to Alta Brewers Hill. A leasing agent at the last apartment building on my list happened to mention this one, so I came to check it out. Shary showed me around and after the tour I immediately knew this was the place for me. I moved into Alta Brewers Hill in July 2020. Shary was very informative and helpful throughout my whole lease here; anytime I emailed her, she responded in a timely manner. So when I moved in, this was unfortunately still in the thick of COVID so most amenities were unavailable, but they’re open now! They have many amenities: coffee bar in lobby, conference room, pool, gym, pet spa, two different courtyards, an experience kitchen, and etc. They even offered a contactless food delivery table in the lobby; how considerate! Other things I loved: secure parking garage, walls were not thin, plenty of cabinets in kitchen, and proximity to stores/restaurants/hospitals. I hate that I had to leave after a year here but I had to relocate for work. If work should ever bring me back to the area, I would definitely choose Alta Brewers Hill again.

Everything is very nice with the apartments and the common areas, as well as the people. The only problem with one bedroom apartments is that the utility cabinet is in the middle of the apartment and not sound proofed, so it's very noisy when the HVAC keeps working.

This complex in canton is easily one of the best in the city, providing extremely useful amenities to its residents while also providing great security throughout the building and outstanding convenience to the canton area shops, restaurants and things to do throughout canton, brewers hill, Boston street and just 7 minutes away to fells point. They have great areas for pets, and outstanding courtyard, and hang out areas inside and out.

Overall I have enjoyed my stay at Atla Brewers Hill so far. The building has great amenities! Working from home 50 % of the time, I find the conference room to be very convenient and essential. The office staff and maintenance staff are very responsive which is always a great thing ! I would recommend this place to friends and colleagues for sure! My only con would be the loud train noise late at night. However, that has improved within the last month.

The Alta was great and incredibly accommodating during my onboarding process but since I've lived here I am paying way too much for what has been provided. Broken elevators, broken trash chutes, broken grills, garage broken into and cars broken into/bikes stolen, bugs.

While we have had some elevator issues, we have worked closely with the contractor to identify and address the issue. We are happy to report that the concern with the elevator has been addressed and had delivered more consistent and reliable service. We would love to discuss the trash chute concern in more detail, so we can understand your experience. Our cleaning and service teams monitor the chutes daily and promptly address any concerns. During the last inspection of the grills they were in good working order. We have added additional instructions to the grilling area for easy step-by-step instructions on how to operate. We do offer a secure access garage and bike rooms, our team walks the area regularly to ensure they are secured. We do not have reports of pest concerns and our exterminator is onsite regularly. By far one of the best rental properties I visited. The proximity to retail outlets makes this very desirable. The facilities are attractive and well maintained. The amenities are outstanding. Pet grooming, pool, lounge all A+. The gardens are handsome and offer a great getaway from the minutiae of the day. The staff was very warm...welcoming and hospitable. That took the time to answer all my questions. I am very excited to live here and call this home.

The management, onsite community officers and maintenance team is awesome, they do a lot of work trying to keep up. The workmanship that built this place is bad, there's always something breaking. We moved in because it we wanted a secure safe place. Having our bikes stolen from a secured room has ruined that for us.

The apartment complex is actually very nice. However, the amenity hours are completely unrealistic. The gym and resident lounge are generally open from 9-5, right during the work day. They shut down elevators for move ins and as much as I love living on the 7th floor, I dont love having to take the stairs with all my groceries with no heads up the elevator will be out of commission. There is no cameras in the parking garage so when there was a break in, they essentially told us good luck. The building is located within walking distance to all of the stores and shops and even the harbor, however there is constant construction beginning at the crack of Dawn and a train that goes by blowing its horn every hour, including throughout the night. After all of these issues, I do feel I am paying entirely too much in rent. I cant enjoy half of what the apartment complex has to offer. I do enjoy living here but I wish management was more present and that the amenities were more accessible.

We did not have temporary COVID-19 hours in place, however all of our amenities are now open with their regular hours. Offering restricted hours allowed our team to conduct daily and deep cleaning of the amenities. We do offer a loading dock and freight elevator for moving purposed. In the event, an elevator is offline, the community does offer 3 additional elevators to provide service. We do have cameras in specific areas of the garage. While we cannot guarantee safety our team does work to ensure the safety measures in place are working. We did have an unfortunate incident in the garage and we were able to personally connect with each person impacted. Were you one of the residents impacted? We are conveniently located near shops and restaurants all within walking distance. Our building is no longer under construction, but the neighborhood does have some ongoing development. My husband and I recently visited and had a tour with Shary. She took time and showed us several units that might work for us. We loved it and are moving in soon . She was also very helpful during the application process. Cant wait to call this place home.

Alta Brewers Hill is literally the best apartment building in the area. My favorite parts have been the super modern amenities, architecture, close proximity to Harris Teeter, Target, Sprouts, local restaurants, and friendly staff! The building opened in 2020 so if you move in soon, chances are that you’ll be the first person to live in your unit - could it get better than that? The community events (hosted via zoom) have been very entertaining with amazing prizes and opportunity to meet other residents. Overall 10/10 would recommend!

LOVE everything about this property!! From the location, the security & cleanliness of the building, the amenities-gym, lounge areas and most of all the POOL...I was extremely pleased with everything about this property and I am very particular:-) The building seems to be very well built because I had 2 tours and spent a lot of time in the units and did not hear any noise, soundproof which is perfect. SHARY F. was my leasing agent/tour guide and she was AMAZING!! She answered every question in great detail, is very pleasant (with a great sense of humor) and was extremely knowledgeable. Any scenario I presented, she was able to provide me with an answer that made me feel at ease. I knew the vibes I received from the staff would set the tone and provide insight for how the office is run and she by far exceeded my expectations! She, along with the beauty of this luxurious building, is the reason why I will now call ABH, home!!!

ABH is a great place to live. The staff are friendly, professional, and responsive. Maintenance requests are addressed in a timely fashion. The spaces are kept clean and the design and decor is very well done. There’s some noise from trains and neighboring construction, but it’s not too loud. It’s a great place to live especially if you work nearby, such as in Canton or at the Johns Hopkins Bayview campus. It’s conveniently located near grocery stores, restaurants, and shops, and the nearby construction hopefully means that there will be even more stores and restaurants coming into the neighborhood. The other tenants all seem nice and respectful. Overall, it’s a wonderful place to live.

My girlfriend and I recently moved into Alta Brewers Hill and had a lovely experience thus far. The office and apartment staff have been lovely (we worked with Marion primarily) and feel completely at home here. The spaces are modern and updated, and the apartments are sleek and cozy. I absolutely love living at Alta Brewer’s Hill. The management team is timely in their responses, very polite and helpful. Marion in the leasing office has been a pleasure to work with. The building is well maintained and the facilities (gym, common areas) are beautiful. The only down side to this area is you can hear the train go by at various times of day.

Before touring Alta, I toured at least 10 other properties within Baltimore over the last 2 years. When I toured Alta, I instantly felt that there was something different about the property. Marion assisted me from tour to move-in, and I have to say she was a large part of why I decided to move here. Marion is extremely friendly, helpful, and attentive - and honestly, so is everyone else in the leasing office - but Marion truly went above and beyond and provided the best leasing experience I've ever had. The maintenance team, Stephen and Carlos, are great. They responded very quickly to my very minor move-in issues, and the always say 'hello' when I pass them throughout the building. The property is very clean and well-cared for, and the construction is solid - I never hear any of my neighbors. The apartments, even the 1 bedrooms, are spacious with TONS of cabinet space. The amenities are top-tier. When I went on my tour, I felt like I was at a resort. From the pool, to the clubhouse, THE GYM, and even the dog park, no detail was overlooked in designing the property. I wish I could have moved here sooner! I love living at Alta, and I already see myself renewing my lease next year :)

Alta Brewers Hill is THE place to live! I've been here for almost 4 months and I love it! The location is perfect, amenities are awesome, and the residents and staff are friendly and welcoming. Marion, in the front office, has been extremely helpful. She helped me rent my apartment and has always been available for questions I've had along the way. She's responsive and even checked in with me to make sure I was settling in okay. ? I looked at multiple apartments in Baltimore before settling on Alta and you just can't beat what you get here for the price, location, and beauty of the apt!

I visited the location twice before making a decision. I loved the designs and my tour both times. I only decided to move somewhere else, because it was closer to my job (within walking distance). However, my experience was amaze-balls and I had to give the team two thumbs up!
