Nestled in the foothills of the San Gabriel Mountains, the city of Pasadena sits about ten miles northeast of Downtown Los Angeles. The staff has been first rate. Everyone from the manager to the staff has been warm and welcoming. I love the dog run and washing station. Maybe the best part is location. We were just relocated from Altadena and really enjoy being able to walk around Old Town Pasadena.

Spectacular location. Within 1 minute of 134 and 210 FWY entrances. Walking distance to old town Pasadena. Extraordinary amenities that are well maintained and cared for. Friendly and helpful staff that is quick to respond to your concerns. Leasing personnel is responsive and helpful.

Lived here almost 5 years and there is no other property in this area that I would even consider. The place is ALWAYS clean, amenities always work and in excellent condition, management is prompt, friendly and takes care of any issues. Resort style living in the city

Fell in love the place!

I went to with my sister to see the place she'll be staying at in the very near future! The leasing officer was very helpful and informative in regards to the location and amenities offered! There was a point where we took a self-guided tour. It's a beautiful location for the interior and exterior! Looking forward to visiting her often when the time comes along! Very happy for the place she chose to call her home!

I love my apartment but the noise from upstairs neighbors makes it hard to meditate or do yoga or any other quiet activity. My neighbors on my floor are all sweet and everyone looks out for one another which gives a nice sense of community. Management could be a lot better and the gym could use some upgrades.

If you want an apartment that feels like a home, this is the place. Avila is managed by a caring, professional staff. I am in a community, not a complex. Dogs are welcome with grooming amenities just for them: dog park and Pro grooming station. I have easy access to LA freeways and walking distance to the charm of Pasadena Old Town. My maintenance needs are handled quickly and efficiently. I feel safe here. I feel at home.

Love living here - great staff

It is my fourth year here and the staff are amazing! One most recent example. It was Friday night when I found the oven was not working. The controller does not turn on even after a couple of trial with the circuit breaker. Not knowing what else to do, I reported the problem via resident's app. The following day, the issue was promptly resolved. It was likely caused by the power outage on Friday morning. Not only the maintenance people fixed the problem, they explained what the likely cause was, and it was very assuring to get the information. Kudos to the ever reliable and hard working staff at Avila!

Been an Avila resident for about a year now. The building is kept clean and the customer service provided by the leasing office has been very good. Amenities are the best. Sadly some residents ignore the closing time of the amenities when office is close. Community is pretty pet friendly and overall chill.

It is disappointing for the overall move-in experience. Encountered hygiene issue, car park access issue and unfriendly communication experience. Heard of negative comments from some of those current and already move-out tenants.

Whether you are working from home or starting to commute, it is good to stay/come home like Avila. The architecture, the garden, the amenity, are nice. Then I would say what makes Avila the place I am really happy to live is the people, office managers, maintenance staff - they are like friends.
