Since we moved into Avana Coachman, we have had nothing but nice things to say about it. The neighborhood is great. The property is always well maintained. The maintenance staff is always too notch. And the onsite staff have always been helpful and friendly.
The only complaint is extremely noisy neighbors upstairs and next door. I don’t think they realize how much you can hear through the ceiling.

Been here for 4 years now and have no complaints. Always so quiet here and the neighbors are great. This is a family community. The maintenance team is always right there when you need them and the office staff are always helpful.

This is a very pleasant community! The grounds are nicely kept, my apartment is structured well, and I have furnished it to suit my needs. Both the senior management and the local staff are always attentive to any issues that may arise - and the compassion they show in their everyday dealings with residents is received well by each of us. Each special holiday or sometimes 'just because', I will go out of my way to send the office staff a bouquet of flowers, just to say, 'your extra efforts and kindness are appreciated.' jimmy
Safe and quiet, two very important things to consider when renting an apartment are found here. Also the maintenance guys make you feel cared for with a in depth ability across many types of fixes.

Avana Coachman is a quiet and friendly community nestled in north Clearwater. With shopping only minutes away. There is always stuff going on in the community. Whether it be trips to the beach or hanging out at the mall with your family, there is plenty to do. All within minutes from Avana Coachman. Famous Clearwater Beach is only about a 15 minute drive depending on traffic. New Coachman Park has become one of mine and my families favorite park in the area. Can’t wait for the festivities of the 4th of July this weekend.

I have lived here over 3 years now and honestly couldn’t ask for a better place. The place has some age but the owners keep up with the work load. The property has changed a lot since moving here. The paint on the buildings, the roofs, and the amenities. Looking forward to another great year at Avana Coachman. Glad to call this place home.

The management is horrible, problems are rarely solved and require MULTIPLE follow-ups. The gate is broken 99% of the time, however is still used as an inconvenience to residents. Problems are solved on the basis of what's more important to management than to the residents. Everything takes much longer to get fixed than it should, i.e. our pool grill has been broken for at least a month, and "just got approved" to be fixed. My rent goes up yearly, with no improvements made to either the property or my apartment.

I’m so excited to be moving into Avana Coachman Clearwater! From the moment I arrived, I felt the warm, down-to-earth vibe of the community. The beautiful layout, serene brick-facing views, and inviting amenities instantly made me feel at home. I love that there’s a well-sized gym to meet all my fitness needs, and the pool and jacuzzi are always clean and welcoming—perfect for relaxing after a long day. One of my favorite features is the dog park, along with the convenient bag and trash stations located throughout the community. It really shows how much we all care about our surroundings and the safety of our fur babies. It’s comforting to know I’ll be living in a place where cleanliness, care, and community pride are clearly valued. A special thank you to Crystal—she was absolutely amazing! Management is uncooperative. They do not want to be bothered. They like to sit in the office and gossip about others. Mantinance supervisor is useless like to ride around on his golf cart all day to look busy. Handicapped accessibility is non existing. Don't get on there bad side or they will issue us a 7 days to vacate order time and time again. No charging station. The dog park is disgusting. It is in a great location close to shopping . This place is so old it is rotting from the inside walls out. Most work is lowest bid contractors put sorsed and they do not check the work done. Nothing for children to do here. The pond is polluted and there are many homeless camping in the wood line just off property. The gate never works properly. This place is not worth the money charged . We are here 10 years now and the rent goes up all the time many hidden charges not disclosed and no accountability for anything. Very poor service. If you complained they want you out. Do a background check on some of the people you will be surprised at what you find. No renters rights . Find another place and save yourself money and a headache!!

I chose to renew my lease and get a 2 bedroom. I love the my new apartment. I am just waiting on some maintenance repairs and I wish I did not have such loud upstair neighbors. I lived living upstairs but the stairs are too hard on me. Hopefully a quiet family will move in one day.

i like the location of the place and the pool area is nice ... when it's open and works. they always schedule pool closure/repairs once it becomes pool season again which is extremely frustrating. The office staff are not friendly. if you're going to work with the public, you'd think basic respect and communication skills would come into play, but not with these people.

I am only giving as much as a 2 star because I loved the scenery and location. Other than that, it was not a pleasing living experience. No communication. Terrible maintenance skills. So glad to be moving.

I am on my third year living at Avana Coachman. It was such a good decision to sign my fist lease. That decision was made, when an elderly resident that just happened to be in the office, (during my initial visit), turned around in her chair and wishpered, "you are going to love it here." The entire Avana Coachman staff (from the front desk managers [always showing such compassion in their every intereaction with each of us that live here], to the skilled maintenance personel - and most impressive, is the level of support they receive from their senior management team), going out of their way to make my stay here welcomed.

Im enjoying my time here at Avana Coachman. It's been Quiet and my Apartment has modern amenities my last rental complex didn't. The maintenance staff have been excellent and the office staff very helpful

Absolutely love living here. Location is great for shopping and close to all major roads. The maintenance here is outstanding! Everything is always fixed super quick. The parking is plentiful, and I am obsessed with the pool and hot tub. Current manager is amazing. She resolved my issue quickly and efficiently and was incredibly pleasant. Only issue is my obnoxious upstairs neighbor and we're working on that.

Overall I would say its a nice complex, its good if youre looking for something simple but dont want to pay for luxary, they have all the amenities you need and management/maintenance is responsive and polite. Buildings are a little worn down but they keep up with interior renovations well, my only complaint is the occasional cockroaches that pop up every few months but besides that overall its pretty good, neighbors are nice too

Stay away from AVANA COACHMAN While the location may seem attractive, it’s not worth the high price you pay for the poor quality and service you receive. The gates are left open 24/7, creating major security issues. The units themselves are poorly maintained. There’s a persistent mold problem that management has failed to address, and the cabinets and appliances are of shockingly low quality. Cabinets are flimsy and prone to breaking, while appliances are outdated and unreliable, requiring constant repairs. Also the office staff is unhelpful and incredibly rude when approached with concerns about anything. The lack of professionalism, safety, and respect for residents is unacceptable. Avoid this place at all costs—it’s simply not worth the hassle or the money.

One of the cheapest and best communities in the area. Also has the largest pool in the county. Valet trash 5 days a week. The staff here are great and are always responsive. Very quiet community.

Such a great place to live. I moved here from Toronto Canada about 2 years ago now and this was the 3rd place I looked at and the minute I got out my car I knew this was home. I just felt so safe and secure, the grounds are met so beautiful, I love the pool area. My apartment is super cozy and the huge walk in closet is the best feature. I love living here
