Set along the bend of US-127 just 24 miles north of Lansing, Saint Johns is an alluring city filled with tree-lined streets, characterful homes, and friendly people. Explore Clinton Ave. for a taste of small-town America, or just a taste of Main Street Cafe, which serves up comfort food in a classic diner space. Sirens Bar is a popular spot just around the corner. It’s one of the few places to see live music in Saint Johns, and does so in a friendly atmosphere with affordable drinks.
Saint Johns is big on greenery. Almost every street is lined with towering trees that shroud older homes and affordable apartments. The smell of mint wafts over the town from time to time, as Saint Johns is the largest producer of the herb in Michigan.
