A wooded, rural neighborhood surrounds Lake Julian, complete with fantastic mountain views and winding country lanes. I have lived here for two years. Swallows build a nest in my patio since it's at ground level. Last year maintenance power washed all the poop off after the nest was empty. I haven’t gone out on my patio this year since it’s filthy. I would like to use it, my rent includes that space. The manager said they won’t clean it. Terrible customer experience for a tenant. Stay away!!!!!

If you want to pay $400 dollars to apply, submit all your paperwork for them to tell you the won't let you move in two days before your move in date this is the place. Love that they waited until we told our current apartment that we're leaving and won't tell us why it's denied. It's been great and they said even if we do find out it was a miscommunication from our previous apartment they won't let us move in.

This community has an experienced young staff. Hidden fees and most of the reviews are true about price gouging. They expect you to read through emails on where they will tow your vehicle. No legal signs! There are hidden fees everywhere and they will not work with you. I repeat they will not work with you! They will tackle fees on top of fees. They do not care and will empty your wallet be aware!

I used to have issues. Complained a few times and heard nothing back. Went to the new manager ready to move out, she came with me to my apartment and took her time discussing my issues. So grateful I decided to talk with her. Everything is amazing now and I just renewed again! Best place and best people!

These apartments are very spacious, but a bit on the older side. II had a few things that needed tended to and Alec in the front office was excellent. He helped me get my problems solved in less than 24 hours! the residents here are all extremely friendly. The apartments are a bit dated but i am extremely picky and the staff has bee more than accommodating with my needs. I really appreciate the hospitality and friendly staff!

idk, With my job I have people's lives (especially children with special needs) in my hands. If theres too much noise from the neighbors - esp. if im working 3rd shift, I would not get enough rest to care for my patients effectively putting them at risk for safety! Then! To deal with poorly insulated apartments that leave my family and me too cold in winter and too hot in summer. NO THANKS. I work hard for my income to freeze like I cant do better
This place is an absolute joke! Management is atrocious. Can only walk your animals in certain areas. Theft and vandalism is an issue but the apartment continues to leave the gate open although 12 of the 15 months I have lived here they have not even worked. Maintenance is useless, and are unable to do much at all besides change air filters. Office management is new this year and will not help you at all and are very very rude and useless especially the lead lady. Since new management has taken over pool has been closed multiple times this year due to BS issues and management unable to get proper permits on time. This never happened with previous management, not one time. Dog park and walking trails are an absolute joke. Spend your money elsewhere, this place is getting worse and worse especially due to being treated like a hotel and offering very short term leases, some apartments are 2 bedroom with 6 grown men living on air mattresses with no furniture. Place has gone downhill very badly, used to love it here.I would recommend anywhere but here. Oh did I mention management is terrible and worthless ?????? Look elsewhere please, looks can be deceiving.

Just when I thought it couldn't get worse, we get a notice today with heavy restrictions on where we can actually our dogs. I can't walk my dog around my own neighborhood using the sidewalk in front of my own apartment even though I pay rent and pick up after my pet. I can't wait to move.
The clubhouse and new buildings have been under construction for such a long time and nothing seems like it is being worked on. The place is just a mess. The fitness room is suppose to be expanded but for months and months nothing has worked and I mean nothing, so plan on not working out here.

We are happy to announce that one of our buildings has been completed, and a second building will be available later this month for new residents to move in. All of our fitness equipment was serviced earlier this week and should be in operational condition. We are very excited about the expansion of our fitness center and hope you will enjoy this upgraded amenity upon completion. Please note that in the meanwhile, our fitness center is still open and can be accessed using the door within the pool area, this amenity is still available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to our residents. I believe my complex should install washer and dryers in every apartment on the site.

It is very roomy apartments with nice amenities. Only thing I have an issue with is thats its not insulated well at all. The walls are like paper too much noise and freezing in the winter.

This is my first apartment on my own. I feel safe at all times, it is close to Asheville, NC for that occasional...night out with my new friends. It is so close to shopping, restaurants, 2 minutes from the Asheville Airport and highways. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful at all times of the day and night :) The grounds are breathe taking and there is no size limit for dogs!! The clubhouse and Pool area are gorgeous and I am very proud to be living here.

Beautiful layout, peaceful environment. I am very happy here. My only complaint is that they seriously need more parking. When my building is out of space, it's a 5 minute walk on a very poorly lit street.

I really like living here! The office staff is friendly and attentive. The grounds are well maintained and if you need something fixed it's done that day or the next unless they have to order something but it's still done quickly. I don't have an issue with noise and the people in my building are friendly. Nice place to call home.

Aubudon Place boasts it offers luxury living and is priced accordingly. Never have I been so cold in luxury accommodations as here, where my second bedroom doesn't heat well, where wind blows in through my outlets, poorly insulated windows and cracks in the door. The resulting utility bills this winter were fairly outrategous. I dealt with ice on the inside of my windows. When neighbors don't hold the doors when they close them, my teeth chatter and my art moves all over the walls. Yes, noise is an issue, but has depended on my neighbors. While I haven't dealt with mold, many of my neighbors have on a regular basis. The office is more often than not snarky and chose, when asked, not to deal with the community as a group when requested to discuss issues like ice and mold. I have been unnerved on numerous occasions by the number of police that have been here primarily for drug related issues. An outside security officer now wanders the grounds, although the office won't tell us why. I'm fine with the fact that dogs are allowed, although they let in a number of the dogs who supposedly aren't allowed. I realize that many people who post on sites like these have a bone to pick. I do not. My suggestion is simply to make sure you talk with neighbors before you move in, although so many of us either have or are moving out.
