Welcome to Fort Myers, where palm-lined streets and sunshine create an inviting atmosphere in Southwest Florida. This historic "City of Palms" offers varied housing options, from downtown apartments averaging $1,608 for one-bedroom units to suburban communities with two-bedroom homes around $1,880 monthly. The rental market has seen rates decline by about 2.9% over the past year. The Dean Park Historic District preserves beautiful vintage homes, while the Edison Park area sits near the Edison and Ford Winter Estates.
Downtown Fort Myers centers on the River District, where preserved architecture houses local shops and dining spots. The Calusa Nature Center and Planetarium offers 105 acres of natural Florida landscape to explore, while the Edison and Ford Winter Estates provides glimpses into the area's fascinating past. The Florida Repertory Theatre, located in the historic Arcade Theater, continues the cultural legacy of downtown.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Audubon Cove
We are glad to have made the decision to move here. The neighborhood is nice and peaceful, and the location is ideal. The staff is responsive, kind, and well-informed, move in process was easy. The apartments are well-maintained despite their age. We love how quiet it is here, lake view is definitely a plus.
Won’t fix broken down stuff in apartment and complex is crawling with bedbugs according to neighbors. Getting out before they find there way to my place.
This was our first place we stayed in FL. The team the runs the facility is top class. They will go out of their way to serve you. The pools are kept nice, as well as, the other amenities. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! Best cost, service, and location around.
I have been living here for a little over a year. The best thing about this apartment is the maintenance. They come promptly and usually fix it correct the first time. This is super important to me because a lot of places you can't say this about. Neighborhood is safe, All apartments except in Building 10 have a lake view. Love everyone in the office. The cons: Landscaping isn't the greatest. When we moved in we were told there would be grills being installed (we have 1 charcoal grill) and a dog park, but it hasn't happened yet, but to be fair there were new owners (I believe) and then COVID happened so I'm sure everything has been delayed. I also wish there were ceiling fans in all rooms. The wiring in the buildings are a little older so you can't get the awesome super speed internet. Can't say enough good things about it.
