So far so good, i had good communication with management everyone is kind and helpful this apartments are beautiful and safe. We have valet trash service wich is so helpful and my husband love the car wash
Everything has been great so far. The only thing that was pretty upsetting at first was that our apartment didn’t come with wood flooring throughout the common areas like the apartment you get to tour beforehand.

Have been here for almost a year, so far it’s been extremely pleasant. Everyone on staff is friendly and kind. Neighbors are also kind and look out for one another. The club house is always super clean and ready for use. The grounds are clean and tidy.

Exchange Apartments in Asheville: Excellent location and amenities. However, parking can be challenging, and noise levels can be high. Otherwise it’s as good place as any. 4 years now here.

Rent keeps going up without any any amenities or any offers to justify the increase. Valet trash used to be much less reliable, though they’ve been better lately. Noisy neighbors are an issue, and the office has not done anything about it.

We have a decent spot with a beautiful view. I wish all the apartment buildings had elevators but unfortunately if you want a premo apartment spot you have to trudge up the 3 flights of stairs to get there. I also wish that they had a regular park along with the dog park they have because there is no walkable place to take kids around here. This is definitely more of a young adult with dogs friendly and not so much parent and kid friendly place to live. But the staff is attentive and the maintenance team always gets stuff done well and in a timely manner which is appreciated.

Still over priced for what is provided. "But the market says..." Just doesn't cut it. If you're going to raise rent every year, you gotta provide value to justify that price increase. Trash left out in the walkways and pizza parties are not value add to my experience as a resident.

I moved in a couple weeks ago and it was the smoothest process. I relocated from out of state and every time I called everyone was very friendly and helpful. The complex is super clean and pretty, and very pet friendly. I love living here, it is in the best location as well. Super close to downtown and right by the outlets!

I've lived here a few years and I really like where they're at now. I recently had a maintenance issue that was relatively urgent (to me), but not an emergency, and a guy from the maintenance team took care of my issue super quickly. Very responsive when it comes to getting maintenance issues resolved. The other residents on my side of the building are quite nice, and the last couple years have been quite low in drama, which is a blessing. What I love most is my floorplan, which is much, much more accommodating than other comparable developments in the Asheville area. Many of the plans minimize the walls which join other units, which helps to keep the living noise down. I recommended this place to a relative who also lives here, and the friends I invite are always gushing over how spacious my unit is. It's overall been a very good experience.

The Asheville Exchange is a beautiful, clean, updated, and peaceful community. The entire property is managed very well. The amenities available to all residents are great: 2 kayaks, 2 bikes, pool, fitness room, tanning bed, pet spa, and more. My apartment unit is spacious with high ceilings, and it is very updated and clean. I personally love the ceiling fans too! My unit is on the 3rd floor and has a nice mountain view. The maintenance team works very hard and gets any job done as quickly as possible. The complex is located right by the Asheville Outlets, the NC Arboretum, an Ingles, an entry area to the French Broad River, and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Overall, it is a wonderful place to live!

We’ve lived at Asheville Exchange apartments for about two years now. we found the experience here overall really positive. Any inquiries to the management or maintenance. Staff is quickly responded and addressed. over our time here there’s been very little maintenance issues if any at all. we found the amenities to be really great. using the pool and fitness center is super easy and always a good experience. we’ve also use the mountain bikes which they have on site for residence use. We also have used the be guest apartment for out-of-state visitors. If I had one suggestion to the team here it would be to add a playground or some sort of play area. There seems to be a growing number of young families here and having a space for the kids to play would be a really great addition. overall a very solid four out of five star experience so far. I look forward to being here for several years to come.

Be wary of this place future renters! You can find way better deals with just as nice amenities and just as nice property for the same price or less, compare the prices yourself and you will see! Our rent over the past 3 leases has jumped 200 and now the 1beds are almost the price of the 3beds when we first moved here. Don’t get distracted by the nice pool and gym and all, that’s really it going for this place

Renters be wary. It's actually a shame, because the units, property grounds, and amenities at Asheville Exchange deserve five stars. The property is absolutely beautiful. The property management has been nothing but difficult. Change in staff, lack of communication, unanswered emails, and no willingness to work with tenants around issues - issues, frankly, caused by the management team. So, honest review, renters be wary. You'll get a wonderful place to live, you'll just have to determine whether its worth the headache of the management team. The management company's response to my concerns was, unsurprisingly, not sincere. Same caution applies to all current and future tenants. You are at risk of unexpected expense with Asheville Exchange.
Leasing office is rude. Their so-called “sophisticated” living is what I would call Snobby. Stay away if you want real, humble living.
My son and I moved to Asheville from Wilmington, NC and we're thrilled to find Asheville Exchange Apartments. We were impressed with the amenities offered and the design elements used within the apartment. The appliances are all energy saving and very spacious, especially the washer and dryer. I'm on first floor and have been pleasantly surprised at how well insulated our apartment is both for heating/cooling and sound. Our monthly utility bills are very affordable. We have a conceirge trash service during the week that empties our trash, disposes of our recyclables and empty boxes right from the convenience of our front door. This is an invaluable service to tenants with disabilities and/or small children. The maintenance staff work diligently to keep the property well maintained and aesthetically pleasing. While the access terminal for visitors has been out of service for quite some time, in all fairness to the property management, they have repaired/replaced it twice within 8 months and installed security cameras at the entryway to the residences -only to have it destroyed again and again. This has not hindered our access to the property in any way. The property management staff have always treated us with courtesy and respect. They communicate with us within a timely manner and make a sincere effort to accommodate requests. Last but not least, what this property has going for it is location, location, location. You are within walking distance of a grocery store, gas station, several nail salons, a pet store, ten restaurants and 75 top retail outlets at the Asheville Outlets mall. By car, you're 15 minutes away from the luxurious Biltmore Estate and the River Arts District where you'll find music, food and artists to delight all of your guests.

My husband and I have been here for the past 14 months and after years of dealing with issues at other apartment complexes, we couldn't of been happier ending up here. The buildings and facilities are all new and a beautiful space to live in. The maintenance staff goes above and beyond to make sure the place looks impeccable all the time. If I put in a maintenance request- it is always addressed within one day, sometimes immediately. That has NEVER happened to me elsewhere (I am used to it being like pulling teeth elsewhere). Stephen from maintenance is always prompt, on the ball, and can fix ANYTHING. The front office staff is equally as amazing. They are always eager to help and put genuine effort into constantly making the community a fun place to live (monthly fun events where you get to hang out and meet the neighbors, often with free food and brews)! The staff all live in the complex as well, so clearly they are showing their love for their own neighborhood with all their hard work. This complex is also very pet friendly. Between the bark park, pet waste stations conveniently located all around the complex, and large grassy places to roam, our dog Teddy is always a happy pup! I was pretty shocked to see the review below as that has not been our experience AT ALL. If they had any issues, all they have to do is talk to the staff-I have never been disappointed with the staffs' efforts to address any concern or question, no matter how minor. It compelled me to speak up of our experience as renters here since the place opened- it has been awesome!

We live here now and I am becoming disheartened by the lack of rule following, property repairs, and unfulfilled promises. This location is great when we want to get away- a stone's throw to I-26, the airport,the Blue Ridge Parkway, and backroads around all of the heavy traffic. However, leaving the apartment property is a nightmare due to heavy construction and traffic on Brevard Rd. Hwy 191. There are property repairs that we have been waiting to be fixed for a year like broken outdoor ceiling fans and the continually broken entrance gate arm. Residents here do not follow rules when it comes to the pool: everyone has an abundance of guests, glass bottles on deck, dogs on pool deck and in the pool after office hours, people getting cut inside the pool or on the sides with no pool cleaning or prevention happening afterwards. Kids throw rocks into the pool, there are half-dollar sized globs of mold floating at the bottom, beer cans left on pool deck, missing grill BBQ utensils, overflowing garbage cans, outdoor fireplace doesn't work, and very poor clubhouse internet connections (even when you are IN the clubhouse). Also residents take advantage of these lack of rule enforcement all the time during office hours and especially afterwards. The residents that are living here now have become more disrespectful of the rules and other residents. It is very frustrating when we pay so much money to use the same amenities that are being slowly destroyed by improper use and lack of respect. I love living here, I love the amenities, but the lack of rule following is getting too much and this place is going downhill quickly because the office staff have not been enforcing anything. We are seriously considering living somewhere else because we pay WAY TOO MUCH to deal with these issues and poor rule enforcement.
