I have lived in many apartments. I love how clean the property is and quiet. I feel safe and I love the location close to many stores and restaurants.
I like the community and the units are nice. I do wish that they complex was gated and that the walls were thicker because you can hear your neighbors easily.
I like the apartment, but walls are thin. Amenities are good, but being forced to pay monthly for valet trash is a waste and frustrating. Not bad for a year.
It is very good, it is a clean, quiet place, the administration of the building and workers are very professional, decisive, friendly and make communication with the tenant easier and more effective
The complex is nice! I really love my unit and the establishment is ran nicely. There is some trash in the public grass areas but other than that the place is nice!
Nice apartment and nice staff supporting in lease journey and good amenities . Sad part is sticking with AT&T wifi only no other option. Slight paint drops in the unit in some spots
I love it here. It’s a family oriented community. My neighbors are friendly! The office staff was pleasant and if there are any concerns, they will get on it immediately.
Overall, this place is great to live. It’s clean, new, and very friendly people. It’s close to downtown, about 7 to 10 minutes away, where we can find all kinds of food. The parks nearby are perfect for outdoor activities, offering a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle. Additionally, the community hosts regular events that foster a strong sense of belonging among residents. Overall, it feels like a welcoming neighborhood that truly has something for everyone.
It has been great so far ,it is very peaceful here!!,i look forward to renewing my lease ,there are many more residents moving in which is great because when I moved in there weren’t many people staying here yet.

So far the unit is grate. As new building some things star to show but not a big deal. The leasing team are really grate and help you on what you need. The only think we missing is gates to access the complex . But overall the place is a grate place to move in and live.
Enjoy the property. It’s nice and clean. Residents are quiet and courteous. Had my truck towed the night I moved in unloading boxes, but besides that everything has been quite enjoyable.
When I first toured this property, it was quite new but still under construction. That being said I have had zero problems with my apartment or the management of the property. The community has also been pretty quiet which is a good change of pace compared to some other properties I have been at.
I really like the community but it takes maintenance awhile to come check on a problem. I also wish some of the residents would cleanup after their dogs.
Very strong smell and odors from weed smoking constantly. Seeps through apartments, leaves entire area smelling horrible. Excessive weed smoking and loud music. Especially one particular building . Issue not dealt with even though it's a smoke free community.
experience: **“Living here has been a mixed experience. The location is super convenient—close to stores, restaurants, and main highways, which made daily errands and commuting really easy. The apartment itself has a nice layout with decent natural light and good-sized closets. However, there were definitely some downsides. Noise from neighbors and thin walls made it hard to relax sometimes, and maintenance requests were hit or miss—some were handled quickly, others took a while. Parking could also be frustrating depending on the time of day. Overall, it’s been okay for the price and location, but there are a few things I wish had been better maintained or managed more consistently.
Our experience was seamless. Even when I was mini-stressing about the process, Carmen spoke to me with patience and understanding. Carmen really is a breath of fresh air. Joshua is the first person we met after Church one Sunday. He remained consistent and poised as we decided on moving forward with our new home. Last, the Property Manager was able to help us get moved in a day prior than the initial plan. I think everyone is nice and quite informative. Any and all questions have been answered with a smile and professionally. We love our new home and we are grateful to be in a central location near shopping, restaurants, grocery, and the expressway.
So far --so great! Super friendly encounters with all my neighbors. I love the amenities we have. I mostly use the open outdoor area outside my back door to sit, wind down and sometimes get work done. The property is always clean. Above all, I feel safe, while the entrance and exit are unsecured--I still feel a strong sense of safety and I haven't noticed any loitering or sketchy behavior. All these things are what I wanted in my new place!
It’s really great and peaceful. Everyone is very respectful of each other. Apartments are great, there were a lot of things that weren’t done correctly such as, the hardwood floor, there were spots were the floor was lifted.

The location is great. It is close enough to the highway yet far away that the traffic sound can not be heard. The pool and grilling area are also great. The gym is always clean and open 24 hours 7 Days a WEEK!
The process of becoming a resident was easy and fast! The staff answered every question and just was very welcoming. They units are new and the community is quite.
The property is generally good; however, there are some construction issues. The main entrance door to my apartment is not properly sealed when closed, allowing cold air to seep in during winter. Additionally, the bathroom tiles appear to be poorly installed. That said, my experience over the past two months has been positive overall—the environment is quiet and clean.

Good news! It's a decent place. The staff is friendly. The neighbors are quiet and nice. Parking is flexible, and the clubhouse and gym are really functional. The garbage collection schedule is good, but weekend collection would be even better.

Apartment is new and good but it is not clean while it is given to me. On the first day along with the hassle of moving need to clean the apartment.
Wonderful environment and a calm environment. It is so close to my college (Collin College) and work. Can’t imagine for anything better than what I got at this environment!!!
I moved to the community sight-unseen from Arizona. The online application process was simply and easy. My wife and I were approved in less than 30 minutes after completing the application. The Leasing manager, Carmen, was very helpful with calls and emails getting all the final documents and paperwork submitted. We had to change our lease start date twice, and they accommodated us with no issues. The property is actually more amazing in person and pictures didn't do it justice. The rooms were a tad smaller than I expected, but the closets pretty much make up for it. I couldn't fit my two large night stands with my king bed in the mater of the C1 floorplan, but slightly smaller stands worked just fine. Overall I think it's a good value for the price, and the move in experience was smooth as butter.
Our experience here at Ascend McKinney North has been great so far. We love living here and the office has been very helpful. Definitely a great place to live!
So far my residential experience has been great and the staff is amazing. I haven't met any of my neighbors just yet, but I also love how quiet it is.

Everything's fine, you hear drag racing from the highway nearby at night. Lotsa bugs, tripped breakers, etc. Not bad for the price. No issues with any other residents

I had a great rental experience and excited to be here!! The leasing manager was very friendly when I met her in move in day. My apartment is very nice and lots of room for a one bedroom.
RUN!! Worse decision I have ever made! The apartments are built cheap! The walls are thin! The flooring is stick-on-vinyl to the concrete floor and is already coming up. If the person in the apartment above poops, you can smell it! There have been several maintenance issues. After being in these "brand new construction" apartments for not even a month, my apartment flooded from the apartment above. BUT mine has not been the only one, several have been flooded. A family a few apartments over had their AC go out in the mid-July heat! I have to dust, sweep and mop daily from the excessive dirt that comes inside-from where-I do not know. People do not pick up their dog poop. This is supposed to be NON-smoking community BUT people smoke (e-cigs, cigarettes, cigars, DOPE, etc) in their apartments and balcony. The office staff does NOTHING! They are rude and have no time for the residences. BUT they have all the time for new people they are attempting to rent the apartments to. And, they lie!
It’s a very nice and quiet location. The staff is very welcoming and friendly and helped us with all the questions we had. Everything was in great condition when moving in and we are very happy with the complex.
