I moved to Orlando a few years ago. I looked and looked all over the metroplex for a one bedroom with a screened in patio, washer/dryer, and hardwood floors. I’ve lived at Ariel for 2 years. It’s been a great experience. It’s quiet, I rarely hear neighbors, I feel extremely safe due to the Lake Nona Security officer who drives around the complex. Maintenance is very nice. Massey pest control is fantastic as well.

My wife and I have lived here for about 2 years now and I have throughly enjoyed being here for the time we have until this morning. My wife is 36 weeks pregnant and trying to sleep at 9am. Around 8:50am there begins to be an absurd amount of noise coming from the apartment above us. At first we thought the people living there might be getting ready for the day, letting dogs out etc. As it continued for 8-10 minutes longer, I made a phone call into the office because at this point it sounded like maintenance. She went on to tell me that she would get ahold of maintenance to see what is going on, after about 10 minutes it continued so I called in again. After explaining that the noise has actually gotten worse after the phone call she connected me to the "Man in charge" of the Maintenance and he began to basically tell me " Oh well, our carpet guys are here, they are almost finished". Basically telling me to get over the fact that it sounds like a daycare upstairs at 9am. Seems like the complexes priorities trump their own residents, Poor management all around. I love a good 9am wake up call from a hammer slamming our "roof". Thanks for nothing.

This is a newer, beautiful property yet the day we arrived to move into our apartment, it was crawling with German roaches (not Florida palmetto bugs!). We had to stay at a hotel (no they didn't pay for it) and even then our request for an exterminator fell through the cracks that day and over time as it took months to get rid of them and we had to ask repeatedly. The place just wasn't run well. The alert system to let you know you had a package often failed to work. The workout room was consistently kept in the mid to high 70s-way too hot for a workout room--and it was rarely if ever cleaned. Wipes for cleaning the machines were often out of stock. The work out room had no mats for stretching, sit-ups, etc-we bought some to leave there. The hose at the dog park was broken for about a year. The gate of the gated community was repeatedly broken-not that it helped to live in a gated community-packages were repeatedly stolen from outside our door where they were sometimes left. They were supposed to be left in the mail room but there weren't any signs telling the delivery people what to do. It is virtually impossible to reach the office by phone-you just have to go there-which is fine if you live there but was difficult before we moved in and were trying to make arrangements-or if we were out of town. Best thing about the place is the enormous dog park-although it would be nice if they'd added some shade!

We understand the presence of insects does not create a relaxing environment and sincerely apologize for any encounters. After reviewing our records, we are unable to locate your specific complaint and would like to obtain more information from you regarding this situation. Following our repairs, the package lockers are now working properly. Our manager kept residents informed of the progress with multiple email updates. We've also reminded the various delivery companies servicing our community to leave packages in the locker bay and not at residents' doors. Our amenities are professionally cleaned three times a week, and cleaning supplies are replenished regularly. Since COVID-19 has limited the availability of sanitizing wipes, we've supplied paper towels and disinfecting spray daily. If a resident reports an amenity in an unsatisfactory condition, we are happy to service it. We're delighted you enjoyed our expansive one-acre dog park! In the park, there are two hoses provided, both of which are currently in working order. Unfortunately, our gate is occasionally damaged because of lightning or misuse by multiple cars attempting to enter back-to-back. While a technician is always alerted immediately, some repairs take more time. We are sorry for any frustration this may have caused. Our team always attempts to be available by phone but may sometimes be assisting other residents. We promptly return voice messages, happily meet in person, and gladly respond to emails and requests from the resident portal. We apologize for any delay in meeting your needs. Our team would like to improve your opinion and would like to learn more about these concerns. Please don't hesitate to contact us if there is anything you'd like to discuss.
