Aren

The location is excellent, very close to everything in Meridian. The apartment itself is decent, appliances are fine (great fridge), but the washer/dryer units are very small and there’s glue residue that makes things feel a little unfinished. Amenities are very nice: the pool, gym, and lounge areas. Management and maintenance are fantastic, they’re kind, quick to respond, and keep the community running smoothly. The main downside is the noise: walls are thin, and you can hear neighbors upstairs doing just about anything. Also if there’s anyone in the court yard, you can usually hear them yap away even if they’re speaking at a normal sound level.

I am so happy I chose Aren Apartments as my first place after moving out of my parents' house, this place is truly a gem! The 24/7 clubhouse and gym are a dream come true allowing me to work out or relax whenever I want + the pool is heated so year-round swimming seems pretty magical. The entire complex is maintained so well, as well as the maintenance team is always so friendly and prompt with any work orders that need completed. The leasing agents at Aren are spectacular, making the whole move in process seamless. On top of that there are resident events twice a month with top-notch prizes, someone even won a tv! It feels amazing to be a part of a community here, especially since I referred my best friend to live here and got a concession for it! Overall, the amenities and community are definitely worth five stars, and I couldn't be happier living here!

Just go somewhere else, anywhere really. Pros: Location, amazon lockers, Gym is well equipped. Cons: HORRIBLE build quality throughout all parts of apartment (glue/construction debris left on baseboards, floors and all throughout the bathtub, paint splatters, chipped cabinets & flooring, stains left on floor, etc). Leasing office constantly hounds residents with emails and texts but ignores resident requests. Any applicant is approved so the parking lot & common areas are a warzone, icy sidewalks all winter, dog poop and stray cats everywhere. You're forced to pay for an app for your appliances that never works. Speaking of, washer only big enough for 5 shirts and a dryer with no venting so air drying is quicker. Biggest Con: THE WORST SOUND INSULATION! I've lived in apartments since the 00s and never have I experienced worst sound insulation. Want to hear your neighbors conversation? Just stand in the bathroom! Want to hear exactly where your neighbors step in their upstairs apartment? Just wait and you can track them by sound of constant endless footsteps all day long!! I counted down the days until I could move out of this place.
