The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Arden of Oak Brook
After a recent reminder from the staff here, I do not recommend this place. It is not pet-friendly. They have asked us to leave the property to allow our dogs to relieve themselves. Dogs are not allowed to go on the pet unsafe safe chemically treated grass on the property, which is all of the grass. My dog is very old. As I tell everyone, if I could control where my dog went, she would be toilet trained. I have always picked up after my dog, but I do understand the frustration when I see dog droppings. If you don't like animals, there are plenty of no-pet apartments for you to peruse. Apparently dogs are one of the most common nuisances in our community, and yet nothing has been done about the neighbors who yell at people and their animals from their patio.
There is an insufferable father and daughter who claim they own the grass outside of their patio. They have it fenced off and they have a camera so they can make sure no dogs or people walk on their grass. And if you do, they will storm outside and curse you out. I didn’t think it would last a week but the apartment complex needs to grow a pair and end it because it’s been 4 months of these people having their own fence. For some reason, they are allowing this to go in. Place used to be nice before this but unfortunately we live within ear shot of these folks so every morning we hear the arguments they start with other residents. Walls are PAPER THIN
We moved here back over a year ago, and we were so excited. The management was friendly. The nightmare started when we realized the walls are paper-thin. You can hear everyone going through the halls and vice-Versa. There have also been a couple rude tenants who yell and shout and neighbors. The police also seem to be at the place at least a couple times a month for who knows what reason. Part of the building is rented out to air bnb folks which is also annoying. If you have an issue with problematic people, such as those who shout profanities in the parking garage, management doesn’t do anything about it. This place looks classy but it really isn’t. There are also people who let their dogs poop and pee in the hallways and sometimes the pee is in the elevator all day long. There doesn’t seem to be an enforcement of any kind of rules/ etiquette here. Please don’t be fooled by the luxury in the lobby—if your own home is not peaceful then none of the other stuff will matter.
