Their maitnence sucks, never responds to issues and if they do respond they half do anything. the office staff are rude to EVERYONE. and god forbid you push back on any of their nickle and diming fees or they will retaliate by eviciting you.

They show you a great apartment that u can not rent and give you an apartment that is not upgrade and leaks in 3 spots. Maintenance is non existence. Oh and by the way the come into your apartment without notice and make things worse than they were to begin with.

Aside from the dated appliances, horrible parking, the outsourced laundry (that you're responsible for contacting for repairs), and lackluster amenities (that are often closed down or missing vital components), the office staff and maintenance crew are about as useful as lead swim trunks. The office will send out mass email to tell you that building X is getting power washed, but you won't hear anything about any repairs you need unless you call them (forget the contact mail on the rental portal. They won't respond). Then you get to hear how they're looking into updates, waiting on parts, or just got a corporate ok to replace things, but they don't know when that will be (expect another month). If you are forced to move here, I hope you like 90+ degree living spaces because it will take them all summer to get to repair your AC and it will be broken again by spring.

Terrible management crew, I’ve called numerous times about the water leaking from the seals of my shower, the new windows they’ve installed are allowing water to get inside the apartment. My dishwasher has completely stopped working. Management gives you the runaround, I’ve put in numerous work orders. there’s a 2inch gap from the hallway into my apartment where my front door is. There’s trash everywhere, the bushes outside are overgrown onto the sidewalk. There’s never any parking,I can’t use my fireplace due to management not wanting to hire a professional to clean out their chimneys. AC / HEAT doesn’t work, had to call numerously still was given the runaround. I had to buy a 600$ window AC to cool down a 700ish sq ft apartment. RUN from these apartments, they’re charging too much for under quality apartments. I would rather live in my car then these apartments again.

You are better off living in a corn field or in your car. Not worth the cheap cost of living. No AC in the summer, no one cares about your family here. Likely your car will be vandalized (this actually happened multiple times).

Maintenance is on the up but still severely understaffed resulting in long wait times. Other staff have issues getting job done. Don't seem to care about the tenants.

Horrible water balcony falling in sink knobs broken shower head just filthy horrible management n maintenance service moved in November 1 complained to office numerous times even filled out check off sheet no one has yet can to fix things around here do not give them your money this is the worst place to live in Battle Creek

I placed a work order at the Main office in the being of November for a broken patio door (which does not close all the way, imagine how cold that made the living room through the winter), mold growing in the 2nd bedroom, the dishwasher that keeps backing up with sewage water ( I have to continually dump bleach in just to control the smell in the apartment). I have also asked for a working blind for the master bedroom since the day I moved in. In January, I received a call from the office asking me how the maintenance team did on my repairs. When I explain no one has been in yet, I was told my work order was moved up to emergency status and they were assigned the tasks to someone else. Every time, I go into the office and ask about the status of my work order, re-explaining and how long I have waited. I am told the same thing every time. We will look into it and get back to you. There is garbage and dog poop everywhere. Not sure how they expect the children in the complex to be able to run around and play safely. For as large as this company is and the amount of money they are making from the units you would think they could hire a team that is actually helpful or cared about their current residence.

Heat barely works, all cupboards and doors barely work; apartment complex always has trash everywhere and has a lot of drugs in community. Neighbors incredibly loud due to lots of partying. Not a safe or welcoming environment and don’t even get me started on customer service. Avoid this place

Had a great experience meeting with the leasing staff. Great environment, pleasant people, and comfortable living. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to lease in the area.

Just got to Battle Creek and I love it. The apartment staff was so helpful. From viewing the complex at first to the move in they were so helpful. The property manager personally helped us get settled and we had never experienced that before. Highly recommended to anyone new to the area and need some help getting around.

I enjoy close banking, on the Bus Rout in walking distance to Shopping, Restaurants, Library, Medical Offices

We have enjoyed our townhome for the most part, there is plenty of space and was very clean when we moved in. The biggest complaints I have is how inefficient the maintenance team is. They do have a ticket system for maintenance request but I takes forever for something to be fixed unless you hound the office to make it a priority. Environment wise it's actually pretty nice, we almost never hear our neighbors and if you have kids it's very kid friendly with areas to take kids to play and swim. Over all its not a bad place to live.

I would not recommend this apartment complex to anyone. Although I love the layout, size, location , and rent amount over the last 7 years this complex has gone so far downhill I can't wait for my lease to be up so I can leave.

Does that title confuse you? It does, how can I put these apartments into a better description. The only reason I'm living here, or why you should is if you are desperate or in a delima. These apartments are located around a great deal of companies and works great for a quick place to stay, first time on your own or work in one of the hundred fast food locations around them. They charge great prices for anyone who is in a delima, but with that great price I'd say, you get what you pay for. A rude and terrifying location and slow matainence crew makes it all the most to move out. Like most Americans I want to live free, happy and safe, i also want my family safe, my friends safe. I would move out, but I'm in a desperate delima.

I have had problems with the apartment maintenance if it is broken it is staying broken or if they do fix stuff, they won't fix it properly and it will break down. i have so many things that they will have to order a part for that or get a contractor in to do. the best that i can say the pest control dude shows up.

My AC is also not working and this happens 5 times a summer. Anyone who is considering living here should scratch it off their list. The maintenance is absolutely terrible and the said the temperature outside has to be 85 or above for the AC to be considered a priority. That is literally the most outrageous thing I have ever heard, I mean if u pay rent on time every month shouldn't every problem be a priority?

I haven't had a worse experience with management being disrespectful and maintenance being lazy and unprofessional than at the Arbors of Battle Creek. Management acts as if it is a bother to talk to current residents and she has an unprofessional attitude towards everyone. Maintenance is lazy and extremely under staffed. I made several complaints about my air conditioning not working. I have still do NOT have air conditioning and it is going on 5 weeks. I have 2 very small children and I live on the 3rd floor. When I talked to the office the girl told me to keep my windows shut and that there is nothing she can do for me. This is extremely unprofessional advice and I am completely outraged!

My apartment is lovely, but that is all I can say. The Maintenance staff is slow and unprofessional. The office staff is unprofessional also. The garbage pickup is awful. Garbage laying all over with rats wandering around the dumpsters because maintenance wont take care of the garbage people have dumped like beds, mattresses, and other pieces of furniture.. I was embarrased to bring someone over to visit because they had to park right next to this mess.

Living in The Arbors was one of the worst experiences of my life. Very rude and unprofessional staff, horrible maintenance, gross apartments that were falling apart and much more. NOT WORTH THE PRICE.
