Lake Apopka, a quaint neighborhood near Orlando, Florida, surrounds the very large Lake Apopka. The north side of the lake is entirely encompassed by a nature preserve, Lake Apopka North Shore. The loop trail at the preserve covers more than 20 miles for great hiking and biking opportunities, as well as extraordinary bird watching. Right off the east side of the lake, you’ll find the University of Florida's MREC (Mid-Florida Research and Education Center).
On the northwest side of Lake Apopka, Green Mountain Scenic Overlook and Trailhead loops around for about 16 miles, giving Lake Apopka’s residents even more great hiking adventures. Clay Island Trailhead is another park option for outdoor recreation in the area. With boat ramps all over the shore of Lake Apopka, this is the perfect location to rent for an adventurous, outdoorsy lifestyle.

Property Ratings at Apex Apopka
My comment is based on what I am experiencing. Although aesthetic is important and Apex has that one hundred percent, its a beautiful place. I am in my 60's and more interested in my space and how I can enjoy peace and quiet inside my apartment and I do not get that here. Some days while working the sound of children shouting as they play and slamming the door to the stairwell has become the norm. Then by night I have to endure heavy pounding walking above my head, which by the way, happens during the days also but that I can deal with but at night when I should get some well deserve rest its unbearable. The fact is that this is not the fault of my neighbor whose walk sounds more like marching causing the ceiling and wall to vibrate, regardless that's how they walk. The problem is in the construction of the upper floors it's so thin I fear someone will fall through. I have no prior experience living in apartments so don't know if this is the same for all apartments. I do not like heights but my next rental must be on the very top floor.
The complex is absolutely beautiful; I feel blessed to wake up somewhere so retreat-like every morning. I’m looking forward to establishing roots with Apex Apopka!

We rented this apartment site unseen. We moved from Nebraska to Florida. I did a lot of research prior to making my decision. What sealed the decision was Tatiana when we spoke over the phone. She made it very welcoming to live here. She answered all of my questions I had. When we arrived after a long 2 days of driving, the team was amazing. My rental experience at Apex has been great since my husband and I moved in over one year ago, we love it so much we have renewed our lease and will be transferring to a larger unit in a few months so that additional family members enjoy the larger apartment and amenities at the Apopka Apex location. We are near the Orlando area so every thing is a short drive away from home including the beaches. The staff is great and all online work order requests are completed in a timely manner.

It's a fairly quiet community, the common areas are beautiful and have everything we need for a good rest and fun, very comfortable in fact, the only thing missing to be perfect is a park for the children, always a place to breathe peacefully.

It’s a great community. They do several food trucks and activities like summer pool parties and Christmas parties to get to know other neighbors. The maintenance does a great job too.

I love this place, it's relaxing, beautiful views, connected with nature and a life of luxury, many events in the community, a very large gym with space for yoga, I love the chocolate milk from the machine, very delicious, a viewpoint where you can reserve for family events or go whenever you want to enjoy the views and relax in the hammocks.
