Property Ratings at Anara Santa Monica
After officially living here for 1 year I can say this is the best community for single parent families. The amenities and proximity to everything (freeways, grocery, coffee, food) makes this the perfect place for my child and I until our forever home. The office staff is great and so is the maintenance team. As a non-pet owner the urine around the community can be irritating since people don't clean up behind their pets but that's not any fault of Anara. All in all I highly recommend this community. (the biggest perks is having Starbucks downstairs and Ralphs across the drive way... A DREAM!)

The units and facilities at this apartment building are great. The only inconvenience are the garages. They smell horrible most of the time and the gate on the ground level don't always work either.

Overall it is a good place. I love the way they keep that package, but the signal on the ground floor is pretty bad, mostly 1 or sos, can’t even receive a message.

Five star staff! Love living here. Starbucks, food and smoothies shop in the retail space connected to the building which is a life saver. Ralphs next door is clutch too.

The amenities are amazing, and they keep the community very clean and safe, I like that there is 2 different pools and a hot tub. Very dog friendly, I love the dog park!

The Maintenance Team is great, accommodating, respectful, and thorough. The upkeep of the property makes living here and being home a comforting experience. I have been a tenant here for 14 years and I don't ever plan on moving!

Nice apartment, responsive management and maintenance. As someone with a dog myself, I’m annoyed by how people who live here don’t reliably pick up after their dog’s poop in and around the grounds.

Street noise isn't the best but the staff and building is great. Deb is a wonderful Manager and we are happy to work with her. Amenities are great but the gym is small.

The staff is great, maintenance is fantastic. Nice amenities, well kept and clean common grounds. The complex is very large and spread out which can be inconvenient for resident who do not live by the entrances. Getting food or other items delivered requires going outside to the street because it is pretty difficult to find a specific apartment, especially if the person hasn’t been at that apartment before. Packages are delivered to a package room and/or lockers and are very often misplaces or lost. Overall a nice place to live but can be quite complicated at times.

The amenities are nice but it is way overpriced for the amount of problems we have. AC has been broken countless times, as well as hot water. They come by to fix issues in a timely manner and the maintenance men are very kind.

Package room is so flawed and the garbage chute has been out for a while. Aside from that, the building and unit is great with lots or great amenities

Anara Santa Monica in Santa Monica is a great place to live! The amenities are superb, staff is nice, and there’s a grocery store just steps away. There are great schools nearby and the beach is extremely close that you can enjoy it often.

This building is perfect for my tween daughter and I. Ralph’s is behind the building and Starbucks is downstairs. I have no complaints outside of delivery issues, which is not the property fault but the delivery people who don’t follow drop off instructions.

Overall a pretty good apartment complex I love the gym and the pool. The location is amazing also, I am a student at SMC, and it’s a 20 minute walk, makes for good exercise

There have been endless problems since I moved in a few months ago. It's relentless. Water leaks, heat, internet, more water leaks, and on and on. I've never had this poor an experience living anywhere in my 30 years as an adult. On top of all that, the rent is above market rates for what you get. Really regretting moving here.

Pros: close to work and stores. Weather is nice Cons: Dog urine in elevators, high rent, sketchy people in neighborhood at night, strange apartment layout. Concierge mailroom doesn’t work if your package is not logged in, and this happens frequently. Weird layout of ground floor to find anything: gym, mailboxes, entrance etc. Elevators and security gates frequently out of order, sometimes for days and days.

Great experience living in AO Santa Monica. Apartments are very nice and customer service is great, always come to solve issues if needed. The area is also nice and close to the Pier.

So far, so good! The AP management team is awesome and very responsive. Good facility on a whole. The package room is a total mess and easy for packages to be stolen, as with the Amazon lockers when they overflow (packages are just left in the public area). Beware, not many staircases in this building so it’s hard to get out and the elevators are far apart and really, really slow. Great pool and hot tub! Gym is small, but gets the job done too.

love our new apartment and the area! Starbucks is only a 5 minute walk from my unit so that makes for a great work break, considering I work from home. We are also so close to the beach which coming from Hawaii, I can’t personally live without!
