Property Ratings at AMLI Decatur
We rented a 3 bedroom here for just 1 year. This was one of the worst apartments I have rented. Here are the lowlights: -The building is not safe. There were numerous occasions of cars being broken into and instances of cars stolen. This was not a one time occurrence and happened frequently. -The building has a no smoking policy, but management does not bother to enforce it. So the hallways will consistently smell of cigarette smoke or weed, and sometimes the smell would permeate into our unit. -We had multiple occasions where our water would come out as a rusty color. -The building never bothered to consistently change the air filter so it was completely black the one time they did change it. -The package room system is a mess and packages would be stolen very often. -The elevator would routinely not work. -They would not bother to turn on the heat sometimes in the fitness center in the winter so it would be below 60 degrees sometimes in there. -The sky terrace clubhouse is supposed to be reserved for residents and a guest (or 2 at the most), but there would consistently be large gatherings and parties of non-residents. All of the above issues were very often ignored by the management team when raised to them. The office team is extremely rude, condescending, and indifferent to the problems with the building. Avoid this property!
If youre looking for an amazing place to live in the Decatur City School District, cross your fingers that there is an available home here!!!! Be prepared to be pleasantly surprised around every corner!
AMLI Decatur has the potential to be one of the nicest communities in all of ATL. The residents, amenities, location, and apartments are wonderful. The management and safety are both extremely concerning.
As a single woman living alone, I always feel safe coming home in the evenings and the triple security of getting into the building. Its also a beautiful area and convenient for walking to the square.

Great building, the leasing staff has been especially helpful with some of our specific needs, they have provided excellent customer service. They have been so helpful throughout the whole process, we mostly have been helped by Jamie, who has been wonderful.

Super quiet, within walking distance to the Decatur Square and Marta and amazing higher end finishes within the units.
I love AMLI Decatur. I see why they have a perfect score. I love how clean it is and the staff is amazing. My move in was so nice. I have paid more in rent and still didnt feel as welcome as they made me feel. I am so pleased. I have three boys and I feel safe coming home with them alone. I love the mailing system as well. Very high tech :) . Thank you for being so kind to my family and I.

I love living here. There is a sense of community that you don't often find in large apartment buildings. It definitely is helped by the wonderful events that the staff provides such as food trucks and live music at our actual apartment! I love all the amenities that have a great mid-century modern vibe and the pool is just lovely. Our apartment is totally sun soaked even with it being north facing. We are very happy here and are so glad to live in a LEED-Gold certified building knowing that we are in a sustainably made, healthy for us building.
Area close to many restaurants and bars. Biking lanes nearby. Very cute apartment and friendly staff.

This has been an experience for me because I have never been through this process of leasing an apartment. However, I am glad, so far, that I chose AMLI Decatur because of the location, friendly atmosphere of other residents and AMLI staff, and the quality of the apartments.
