Living in Avondale Gateway, you’re surrounded by a wide variety of restaurants, including Culver’s famous frozen custard and butterburgers, Ruby Tuesday’s, Carrabba’s Italian Grill, Red Robin, and Raising Cane’s chicken fingers.
Residents have direct access to Interstate 10, which makes for convenient commuting. The multi-use fields at Friendship Park are just a short drive away, as are the picnic areas at Cashion Community Park. Avondale Fiesta plaza encompasses a lot of convenient services, from fast-food establishments to UPS and a local supermarket. Phoenix’s international airport is about a half hour drive from Avondale Gateway, and the shops and cinema at Gateway Pavilions are under a 10-minute drive.

Property Ratings at Alta Avondale
Think long before moving here. Yes the amenities are nice. Location is nice (close to I-10) but the flaws are inconvenient. But it’s only really worth it to me if you live in building A. They’re the only ones with the beautiful Mountain View. They have a variety of floor plans Maintenance is quick, they fix things in a timely manner and you receive an email even it’s done. -The toilet is LOW to the ground. Hope you’re ready for deep squats. - - Minimum to no guest parking. Keep in mind your guests are not allowed to park in the complex. They recommend you have them park on the back street, but half of the back street is closed off. There are 11 spaces behind the gate but they’re usually always taken. Or guests can park in one of the 4 “future resident” parking spaces after business hours, which are also being used by what I assume are residents. That’s 15 “guest” parking spaces for roughly 80 apartments… (They didn’t mention this on the tour) - - The gate set up is terrible. They could at least move the call box closer to the gate to get residents out of the way of traffic, or have another entry gate. The trash compactor is always full. -I do not recommend here if you are working from home, the internet has been very spotty. Yes, I called the Internet company, no the solution did not work.

Alta Avondale is such a lovely apartment complex. The community is so kind and extremely welcoming. The place is also extremely well maintained, I have not seen any trash while walking my pet around. The staff and maintenance crew are so welcoming and friendly. Shout out to Johan and Kamyiah for being such amazing staff!

So far my stay at Alta has been amazing and the staff has been nothing but amazing and respectful. And very quick to fix any issues very nice community and clean pool is amazing lot of fun things to do close to the freeway and restaurants in walking distance.

I just moved in a couple of days ago. It is beautiful and very clean. It’s new a big plus. Close to the 10 freeway but not too close. Recommend it highly.

Alta Avondale has exceeded all my expectations! From the beautiful, modern apartments to the incredible amenities, this place truly feels like home. The layouts are spacious, the appliances are top-notch, and I love the smart home features that make daily life so convenient. The community spaces are amazing—the pool feels like a resort, the gym has everything I need, and the coworking lounge is perfect for getting work done. Plus, the resident events are a great way to meet people and feel connected. The leasing team and maintenance staff are fantastic! They are always friendly, responsive, and truly care about residents. Any maintenance requests I’ve had were handled quickly and efficiently. Living here the last three months has been amazing, the employees are amazing to work with, super understanding and handle things in a prompt and timely manner and all the amenities they provide make it feel more like living in a resort than an apartment

The community management and maintenance team are AWESOME! They are patient, responsive and solution focused. I would definitely recommend Alta Avondale to anyone. It is a very clean community and very secured. The staff in the leasing office are very helpful and assisted me promptly with any of my questions. Huge shout out to Kamiyah, Hector, Gabrielle and Melissa for helping with my move in. The amenities are great at this community and you can tell the staff really cares about the community as well as the people who live here.
