The apartment is located in close proximity to GA Tech and many other office buildings. There is a supermarket 2 minutes away from the building - making it convenient for grocery shopping. Can't express enough appreciation for the building's management team, who are always professional and ready to help. Maintenance is timely too. Gym facilities / public area is clean and well-maintained.

Lovely property! I got to tour this property with the leasing manager Keturah and she did such a great job! She really had me almost ready to move in when she walked through the amenities. One thing I look for in a property is a great leasing agent and she did not disappoint. She walked through the finishes, design decisions, and even gave me great advice on how I could design things when I move in. She also had great insight on the area as well. The property is very dog friendly which is one of my favorite things and it does not stink at all. They take great care of the property and I love that you can casually see and talk to the leasing officers. Though I didn't choose this as my forever home right now, I definitely put this up as one of my favorites.

Despite being assured that everything was ready for moving a week in advance, when we arrived from out of state to unload our moving truck, we were told that the apartment had not been cleaned or painted and that a crew would be sent to do that later (after we unloaded all of our things). The apartment was dirty to the point where we could not stay there and had to find other accommodations. The bedroom smells of urine and after seeing the state of the apartment, is it difficult to wrap my head around living there. We are disheartened because we chose Alexan because of the reviews about management however our experience so far is not good. Had we been informed that there was a delay in getting the apartment ready, we could have shifted our schedules and moved in a little bit later in the week but nothing was communicated to us in advance. We also had difficulty with one of the fobs not working during our move-in and poor communication regarding moving logistics.

Our apartment was not cleaned and maintained on move-in day. This caused stress and anxiety over the condition of the place and the need for subsequent days of cleaners and maintenance to enter the apartment. A sample of the conditions found upon move-in: scuff marks and dents all over the walls, nails in the wall, a urine smell in the guest bedroom, a melted outlet cover with grease stains all over it in the kitchen, a mat adhered to the kitchen floor, a vent covered in duct tape, and baseboards covered in a thick layer of dust.

It’s an ok place to live. Your neighbors really can make or break the living environment as well since smells and sounds travel very easily between units. The leasing office can be quite difficult to get a hold of at times - so you have to call/email/visit the office multiple times before anything gets addressed. Nico, one of the concierge staff, is truly wonderful and makes everyone feel welcomed. For my personal situation, I think the units are a bit overpriced for what you get when compared to other units in the Midtown area. Overall, it’s alright here but very dependent on your neighbors and your preferences.

I have been living here since 10/2023. The leasing staff is top notch. They are professional and always helpful. They always make you feel like you are in a home community. The property is very well maintained. The staff is very responsive and warm. I enjoy the monthly gatherings.

I have lived here for 2 years and have recently resigned for a 3rd year. The staff is very friendly, they keep the neighborhood clean and safe, and maintenance (shoutout to Kelvin) is quick to respond and fix any issues in the apartment. Gym, dog park, and the club room are great. Would highly recommend to anyone looking!

It's a good place to live if you're young and Tory really does a great job of making sure you're taken care of. Since it's more of a younger community, it tends to be a bit noisy at times, but that's not much of a surprise. The cost of living in this community is pretty pricy for what's provided, so take all of your pros/cons into consideration. Be sure to tour the exact unit you'd be moving into before signing anything to make sure it's actually clean and ready for move-in (mine wasn't and it became a much more complicated process which Tory thankfully took care of professionally).

Excellent apartment. The building is located in close proximity to Georgia Tech, which makes it convenient to walk to campus. There is a publix about 1-2 blocks away. Very convenient location.

We’ve been living here for going on 4 years and couldn’t recommend enough. The staff is super friendly- they brighten my day whenever I see them. I feel safe and secure because of the location in midtown and the 24/7 security at the lobby. We use the amenity space quite a bit. High quality apartments. Will be sad to leave when we move out of the city.

The location can't be beat! Super walkable which is a major plus for me. The parking validation for guests are a major plus especially being in the middle of the city. The Concierge team is amazing and the staff is very helpful and professional

I enjoyed staying at alexan on 8th, my move out process was smooth sailing and I really wish I can take the staff with me to my new place out of state. Jovi kindly greeted me as I entered the office, she was so kind and wished me well. I would highly recommend anyone leasing here. It was a great experience and the team is so attentive and welcoming.

I've been apartment shopping in the Midtown area, and I must say the leasing team makes me want to move there more than anything, very friendly and knowledgeable team. I also toured the one bedrooms and it exceed all of my expectations from the size of the bedrooms and floor-to-ceiling windows.

I love living in the center of Midtown! I can't speak highly enough of the apartments or Hanover Team, including the Manager Drew!

I came by the past week for a tour and was assisted by Ms. Jovi. Her presence and energy was amazing and she was able to answer all of my questions and concerns. She made me feel very welcoming and it was such a memorable experience. You guys are doing a great job with staff!

We went this past week to go tour Alexan on 8th and we’re very pleased ! Seoul(I hope I spelled it right) was an AMAZING tour guide and and answered all of our questions. He showed us all of the amenities and went above and beyond in telling us about each unit and floor difference. I cannot wait to live here !
We went to tour Alexan on 8th this past Thursday and was greeted by Drew, who had the most genuine smile and excitement that we walked through the door. Drew was professional and inviting and made us feel right at home from the minute we walked in. He took us on a tour of every amenity and apartment home that he felt fit our needs, while answering every question we asked (we had a list). We have toured so many properties in the past week and nothing compares to the experience we had at the Alexan with Drew. The amenities are amazing and apartments checked off all of our wants, not to mention the location is IDEAL! Needless to say, we leased and cannot wait to call this place home next month! Check this place out and ask for Drew. His charm, knowledge of the property, and love for his job that radiates, will make you wants to call this place home as well!
What an incredible experience through and through! All the way from the Leasing Team, the Maintenance Team, and the Manager Drew! It was a pleasure working with them on our move in. Looking forward to having a great Manager and staff downstairs through our time here!
After living at Alexan for a little over a year, I have to say that it was one of the best apartment buildings I have had the pleasure of living in. Had I not purchased a home nearby, I certainly would have stayed with Alexan! My agent Brandon has been awesome from beginning to end. If I decide home ownership is not right for me, I hope Alexan has room for me!
