Aberdeen is a great and safe place to live. I have rented here almost 5 years and it's been a really good experience.
Had a great experience with the front-office staff when my son moved here about a year ago, so I decided to get my own apartment when it was time for me to relocate. Amazing front-office staff and you can expect a prompt maintenance response if you ever find yourself in need of a repair.

Aberdeen has been such a wonderful place to live. AI is very helpful and accommodating as well as the Aberdeen staff! The apartment I live in looks exactly like the model shown and its seriously worth the money. Love that its so pet friendly!! Ive had a very wonderful experience living here so far.
Decent place to live with included amenities if you can afford it. Pray your living situation does not change as corporate and office staff make it impossible to sublease your apartment and charge exorbitant fees to leave early.

My A/C has been out over a week. Initially I called and left voice mails on the emergency maintenance line three times with another call and message left with the main office. NO ONE RESPONDED. It was over 90 in my apartment. The next day I can to stop out to the office as no one returned my four voice mails. They stated they would send someone out. A maintenance staffer visited but did not repair the A/C instead giving a window unit. The work order was considered complete and my A/C was still not working. I advised the property manager who claimed to be unaware of the situation and promised to send someone out that day to resolve the issue. NO ONE CAME. I had to call again only to hear her place full blame on maintenance staff not being able to listen to her. They promised again to send someone out to fix the situation. I’ve lived here for 5 years. It was once a quality place. It’s still a good neighborhood but the staff / management is incompetent.

Things are going downhill and my maintenance issues arent being resolved. Meanwhile staff are not providing clear answers as to why or addressing solutions.
Aberdeen is amazing. The managment team always goes above and beyond to help. I would recommend them to everyone.

Since meeting with Ai and Tyree I knew I was going to rent an apartment. They both greeted me with a warm smile. Ai is very customer service driven and transparent. I have enjoyed every moment of this new adventure with Aberdeen Apartments. I would highly recommend anyone to stop by and check out the apartment.

It may look nice from outside but you will have to look at the inside very carefully other wise u will miss the bad items.
The area is nice, the staff and management are excellent. Contractor selection is their downfall. The apartments are nice, but I think it is a little over priced for the quality of the building. Floor trim especially looks like it was done by amateurs.
Aberdeen apartments is amazing. The staff is very friendly, and the maintenance team gets everything done in a very timely manner. The apartments are in a great location, and have many great amenities. It is on the KU bus route, which is very convenient. I have lived here for a few years, and they have always been very accommodating. I love living here.
I have loved living at Aberdeen. It's a nice quiet place to live and the apartments are well kept. Pet-friendly with walking areas and very close to the dog park (which my dog LOVES). The gym is small but it's kept very clean and has working equipment. One thing missing is a pool! Maintenance is usually good about getting to your requests fairly quickly (particularly if you're having issues with heating or cooling) however, my dishwasher broke over a month ago and still hasn't been fixed. Staff is very friendly with the exception of maybe one or two people. Overall very pleased with the complex.
