After graduating high school, she ventured from Yucca Valley, CA, to Las Vegas, where she pursued a Bachelor's in Business Accounting at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. During her academic years, Emily's involvement in the University's Real Estate Society was both extensive and impactful. Not only did she become a prominent figure within the society, serving as its President for a year, but she also forged a connection that would shape her professional trajectory. Emily entered the fold of The Brooks Team, led by CEO Jim Brooks, and quickly ascended the ranks from receptionist to Vice President of Operations during her tenure from 2005 to 2014. Emily's achievements with The Brooks Team were remarkable; she claimed the title of the #2 high-rise agent in the state of Nevada for multiple years. Even during the challenging times of the recession, her team earned the distinction of being the #1 short sale team in the state for several years. In 2014, Emily transitioned to Orlando, where she joined Keller Williams and established the Armstrong Family Group (AFG), named after her family's business. As the team leader of AFG, Emily wears many hats. While maintaining her status as a top-producing agent, she also dedicates her time to coaching and mentoring her team, guiding them toward success in the local market. Further showcasing her leadership, Emily serves as the President of the Young Executive Board at the Citrus Club where she spearheads a monthly charitable fundraiser benefiting a different charity each month.
