This expansive villa comes with 4 bedrooms in the main house and a 2 bedroom attached guest cottage, providing enough space to sleep up to 13 guests. With a spacious and open-air design overlooking the crystal clear blue waters of the world famous Lanikai beach, it won’t be hard to unwind in this tranquil and private tropical paradise. The entire home is equipped with split air conditioning for optimal temperature comfort. The expansive common area includes a large kitchen outfitted with several high end appliances. Overlooking the kitchen is the dining table with seating fit for 8, as well as the formal living area. Flowing seamlessly from the common area through the open face doors is the large covered lanai (porch) with outdoor dining table and spa overlooking the lush flora on the lawn as well as the ocean beyond. It is the perfect place to spend the day soaking up the tropical sunshine, or to relax at the end of the day watching the colorful display of the Hawaiian sunset. The Primary bedroom comes with a comfy King bed, access to the spa lanai, overlooking stunning ocean blues, a ceiling fan, AC, and the large private Primary ensuite with dual vanities. The Guest bedroom 2 located on a second level, is furnished with a queen bed and has some of the best views in the house including a private balcony! Guest bedroom 3 is off of the family/game room, and comes with two twins, ensuite and access to the front outer lanai. Guest bedroom 4 has a King bed as well as private ensuite. Guest bedroom 5 (cottage) is located on the second level and is furnished with a Queen bed and shares the bathroom with Guest bedroom 6 which holds a full size bed. In the cottage the sofa can be converted to a futon bed to accommodate an additional guest. Na Makana Villa is located on the widest section of Lanikai beach just across from the famous Mokulua Islands! Just a short drive away is historic downtown Kailua where you’ll find ample opportunities for shopping, dining and entertainment for the whole family to enjoy. If you’re looking for more of a metropolitan vibe, downtown Honolulu is a 20 minute drive and is the central urban hub of Hawaii with endless options for restaurants, boutiques and entertainment venues. Or explore the immeasurable beauty of Oahu’s nature with scenic beaches lining the famous North Shore, or hiking within the lush and mountainous interior of the island. In Kailua it’s all about the beach. Some people move in and hardly ever make the 30 minute drive into Honolulu. The white sands, blue waters, and swaying palms erase all thoughts of a world with skyscrapers, airliners, and bustling city streets. You’ll also find commuters that work in Honolulu but prefer the quiet life in their down time. The Marine Corps Air Station Kaneohe Bay is next to Kailua and accounts for a number of the families that call this laid back beach town home.
Kailua is much smaller than Honolulu and that’s part of the charm. The main part of Kailua runs from Kailua Beach Park east to the Enchanted Lake neighborhood. Lanikai fronts part of Kailua Beach and is one of the most popular areas. It’s known for its eye-popping water views and assortment of long or short term vacation rentals.
