        Neighborhood

        Fairfax is ideally placed within minutes of one of the state’s most popular attractions, downtown Cleveland, where endless opportunities exist to pass time. One of Cleveland’s East Side neighborhoods, Fairfax has its own source of amusement and entertainment – the busy Euclid Avenue. The establishment of the Euclid Corridor, providing a wonderful link between University Circle and downtown, has led to further growth of the neighborhood over the years. Today, bus stops, bicycle lanes, restaurants and shops line the avenue, supplying residents with all the essential amenities, and then some. Fairfax is not all modern development, though, and the community shares a sense of pride in their heritage, celebrating iconic sites of African American history and their decade-old recreation center.
