The new manager David has been great! He has been communicating with us a lot addressing property concerns that the past manager never did. He is doing an excellent job overall and I love seeing his welcoming presence in the office. Thank you for brining him to the team!

Hi there, we are very happy to have provided you with such a positive experience! We are always more than happy to assist you if anything else comes up. Take care!
From the apartment finishes (all top of the line - crown molding, limestone counter tops, tiled shower) to the location (walking distance to a Safeway and numerous local food establishments) you can't ask for anything more in apartment living! The management and maintenance staff are extremely friendly and responsive and have the Residents' best interest at heart. Would definitely recommend as a place to live to friends and family!

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your feedback of 885 Woodside. Your residency, comfort and feedback is important to us. -885 Woodside Team
I've been a resident of 885 Woodside Road for almost 2 years and I can't see myself living anywhere else in Redwood City! What I enjoy about living in 5-story building housing just under 40 units is the intimacy! I hardly ever see anyone in the hallway, elevator, gym, mailroom or rooftop and that's a PLUS for me because I feel a lot of privacy here. I must mention that the walls are built thick so I don't hear any noises from the neighbors above, below, or beside me. The finishes and appliances are unlike any other apartments I've toured in Redwood City. Limestone counter tops, real wood cabinets, gas stove, massive refrigerator, pebble-stone shower room, etc - it makes feel like I'm living in a luxury condo rather than a common apartment. The gym, gated-garage, and rooftop patio are nice additions, too. Did I mention there is a Peloton at the gym!? The neighborhood is beautiful and very safe! Walking distance to many shops, plazas, restaurants, Safeway, and parks. 2-minute drive to Costco, Target, Marshalls, Ross, Lucky's and CVS pharmacy! 885 Woodside is between Redwood City and Atherton so there are a lot of nice homes here. I prefer this location rather than living in the busy, loud, and high-traffic area of downtown Redwood City. But when I do want to visit, downtown is only a 6 minute drive! Very convenient! I haven't had a problem living here and I am a happy resident! Would 100% recommend to friends and family.

My family has lived at this property for over 4 years and there is no where else we would rather be! The apartments are modern and spacious with very nice features - crown molding, real wood front doors, recessed lighting, granite counter tops and high quality appliances. The review below must have been from some time ago since new management has been in place for over 1 year and they are fantastic! Any maintenance requests are promptly repaired, the building is kept in excellent working order and is always fresh and clean. Additional proactive management has been added over the past year with changes to water filters every 6 months, gutter cleanings, tree trimming, garage power-washing and even special dryer lint removal. Special care is given to this building and its tenants, which is very much appreciated. The location cannot be better - midway between both 280 and 101. Quiet building and friendly neighbors. I highly recommend joining this community!

So good to hear from you! Thanks for letting us know. Have a great day!
I have lived in this building for more than 6 years, in three different units, and seen three management turnovers. Current management could not be better. The comment from one year ago (likely still visible below) appears to be commenting on the most recent management turnover. Before that, it was true, there were management issues. But certainly not anymore. The current on-site manager, David, is the most diligent person I have seen in this position in all my years renting (anywhere, not just at 885 Woodside). The apartments/condos are quite new, so very few issues arise. But, when we moved into the most recent unit, we brought many small issues to his attention, whether it was a fleck of paint on the wall, or dim ankle-height LED lighting on the balcony, or a small crack on one of the plastic drawers inside our refrigerator (that did not impact functionality). As you can see, we were basically the most nit-picky renters imaginable. No matter how trivial the issue, David responded enthusiastically and very quickly. Furthermore, current management is very on top of all the legally-required stuff, like keeping leases up-to-date, making sure everyone is appropriately insured, conducting regular fire alarm and sprinkler checks, making sure they give appropriate notice before entering your unit, etc. AND they are great about routine maintenance like replacing the water filter in our refrigerator or replacing light bulbs. 885 Woodside is a very nice community to live in. The people are very friendly, as is the manager and maintenance person, and sometimes management has small events on the rooftop in order for people to meet their neighbors. I have never lived in an apartment for more than a year, let alone 6 years, and so not plan to leave until we buy a house. It's a really nice place to call home.
