It's a small, garden style brick building on a quiet street. There are total of three apartments in the building. The apartment is located on the ground floor. The apartment has beautiful new real oak hardwood floors, spacious eat-in IKEA kitchen large refrigerator and full size (30") gas stove, dishwasher and garbage disposal. There are plenty of window in the apartment, bringing nice natural light into the apartment. All windows brand new and very good quality. There are two large closets in the bedroom and one large closet in the hallway. The apartment has private entrance. Tenant has complete control over heat via thermostat in the apartment. Rent includes hot water, sewer and trash. Rent DOES NOT INCLUDE electricity and gas, cable and telephone. Electric bill runs about $15-20/mo in the winter and little more in the summer depending on the A/C usage. Gas bill runs about $35-50/mo average (more in the winter and less in the summer). Tenant is responsible for common area lights in the boiler room and pays for washer/dryer outlet, which is connected to the apartment circuit. The advertised price takes into consideration common area electricity usage. Window unit Air Conditioner is provided free of charge. There is a direct access to a coin-operated laundry room directly from the apartment. Washington Adventist Hospital is five to ten minutes away on foot. 1.5 mi to the Metro (Takoma), RideOn bus and UM Shuttle stop is around the block.
