The location is probably the best attribute of this apartment, being so central, in a historic neighborhood, and so close to one of the most charming and vibrant streets in Boston, which is Charles Street, but on a very quiet street. There is virtually no street noise in the apartment. Beacon Hill is one of the oldest neighborhoods in the United States. It is full of history and charm. It's cobblestone streets, gas lamps and flower boxes on the windows make you feel transported to another era. The apartment is on a very quiet street, but steps to vibrant Charles St. where there's everything you could possible need - fine dining, wine tasting, gourmet grocery store, boutiques, oldest post office in the country, pharmacy, UPS store, hardware store, art/map galleries, yoga studio, gym, etc. Important note: I don't list my apartment on Craigslist - if you see it there for a lower rent, it is a scammer who is using my photos and asking people to wire a deposit - it is a fraud, please beware.

Neighborhood - Beacon Hill

Picture of Beacon Hill Boston

Beacon Hill

Narrow cobblestone streets lined with red brick homes give the Beacon Hill neighborhood, the best known Boston neighborhood, a stunning visual appeal. Residents here have access to terrific shopping along Charles Avenue and are within walking distance to numerous eateries, shops and cultural venues.

The Charlestown neighborhood showcases both brick-and-wood townhouses and public housing, giving this neighborhood a mix of tenants. Contemporary shops and restaurants live alongside the oldest tavern in Boston, and residents have gorgeous views of the Charles River harbor, home to two marinas.

The North End is home to Little Italy, where bakeries and specialty grocery stores line the neighborhood's business district. Hotels and bars dot the landscape along the waterfront, and the U.S. Coast Guard has a base in this community.
