Watch the sun rise over the ocean from the decks, take path from the house for a walk in the woods, an early or late swim in a clean refreshing quarry. Stroll to Back or Front Beach or to the center of town for leisurely shopping and enjoy delicious coffee and strudels. Rent kayaks and paddle across the harbor to Thatcher Island and its twin lighthouses. Bring bicycles to explore Cape Ann's countless seaside roads and pathways within easy riding from the house. A short 10 minute drive puts you in the heart of Gloucester the oldest fishing port in the U.S., and the setting for Sebastian Junger's bestselling book and popular film "The Perfect Storm."
