Taku/Campbell

The neighborhood of Taku, sometimes called Campbell, sits a short drive south of downtown Anchorage. Approximately 13,000 people call the quaint neighborhood home as of 2014. Spanning 4.5 square miles, Taku has a current population density of around 3,000 people per square mile, which is 17 times denser than the city of Anchorage overall.

The neighborhood has a rectangular shape, bordered by Walter J. Hickel Parkway on the west side, Alaska Route 1 or Seward Highway on the east side, Dimond Boulevard on the south side, and International Airport Road on the north side.
