Downtown Santa Fe and the surrounding historic districts are compact and most conveniently traveled on foot. The Railyard District is a large arts district with galleries, performance spaces, a cinema, restaurants and antique shops. The Santa Fe Plaza is about 1.5 miles away and features many historical/arty locations, such as the Georgia O’Keeffe Museum, Cathedral Basilica of St. Francis de Asissi, Palace of the Governors and Loretto Chapel.
