Roughly a mile northwest of downtown Wilmington, Hedgeville is a beautiful neighborhood filled with Victorian architecture and mature trees. The heart of the neighborhood, Kosciuszko Park, is located on a hill and features walking paths, a playground, and lighted tennis courts. Hedgeville borders I-95 for easy commutes, and the neighborhood features a variety of shops and restaurants, especially along Maryland Avenue. Here, you’ll find a Ray’s supermarket, Mr. Cheese Steak Restaurant, and Johnny’s Food Market.

The Christina River is just a few blocks east of the neighborhood, providing several parks with beautiful views. The Russell Peterson Wildlife Refuge is a terrific destination, providing raised walking paths and a visitor’s center. Hedgeville apartments also provide fast access to the Daniel S. Frawley Stadium, the Delaware Sports Museum & Hall, and the Delaware Children’s Museum.
