You can depart on a dive, snorkel, sport fishing or whale watch adventure with some wonderful local operators here. The sweet little towns of Hawi and Kapa'au are 15 minutes north of us. This is an artist community with great shops and quaint eateries. At the end of the road just past this is the famous Pololu Valley, which you can hike down enjoying spectacular coastline views and a black sand beach. Waimea is a short 20 minute drive where you can enjoy local farmers markets, shopping, a local brewhaus, dining and home of the famous Parker Ranch.
