About This Property

Bedrooms are sized wonderfully with ample space for queen or king beds, or if you need to convert one into a home office. One bedroom is on the first floor and can accommodate a queen sized bed. There is a full size closet with custom built-ins, and a custom-made desk area with full access to electrical outlets to create an at-home workspace. Other rooms on the main floor include a full size bathroom with beautiful tile work, a family room, dining/sitting room, large kitchen with an oversized eat-in island (with built in cabinets for extra storage), as well as the laundry room that includes a washer/dryer, mudroom, instant hot water heater, and additional access to the backyard. The other two bedrooms, including the master, are located on the top floor and large enough to fit a queen size bed in the guest room and a king in the master. Both have expansive closets, also custom built by California Closets. There is a full bath on the second floor with a tile shower. An added benefit to the house is the lovely backyard with a pergola, outdoor sitting, granite bar with built in refrigerator and natural gas-fed grill (no need for propane tanks!) and seating for at least six, and a bluestone fire pit! There is a Bluetooth 4 speaker stereo system that can connect to any mobile device to run your favorite playlist. Additionally, there is direct access from the yard to the recently refinished ‘garage’ area that can fit another living room and big screen TV, and comes equipped with an electric fireplace and counter seating. There is also a sink if water is needed while cooking outside. A space for gym equipment is also in this downstairs area. Driveway + garage can handle 3-4 cars, and street parking is always available to as many cars as needed. Likewise, a short 6 minute stroll on the canal takes you into the Borough for your morning coffee (Starbucks, Pretty Bird Cafe) and several great restaurants (Yardley Inn, Vault, Continental Tavern, Charcoal BYOB, Kawaii Tori Sushi), bars (Vault, Tannery Taproom, Continental Tavern), and sandwich shops (Lena’s, Wawa). It’s an easy bike ride to Washington's Crossing (4 miles) and New Hope/Lambertville (11 miles). Plus, it’s only 4 miles to Sesame Place! The Delaware Canal/bike path is directly behind the house and the front of the home is a block in from the Delaware River. There is a boat launch 1/4 mile away where you can put Kayaks/boats/tubes in the river. There is a train station within walking distance (10 min) for trains to Philadelphia. The Hamilton train station in NJ is about a 15 min drive to get the train to NYC. We are minutes from I-95 with easy accessibility to the PA Turnpike and US Rt 1. It is a short drive or train ride to Philadelphia, within 20 minutes of Princeton, an hour+ train ride to NYC, and drivable to Baltimore and Washington, DC on I-95. Other Notables Easy access via electronic key pad on front door for easy and safe access. Our home has been elevated so there are steps to access the first floor of the house. There is a shed in the backyard for extra storage space. Beautiful front deck has scenic river views and is large enough to fit multiple tables or seating arrangements. Extremely friendly neighborhood with low foot traffic, making it very safe for families. Kitchen comes equipped with high-end appliances and garbage disposal. There is also a pull-out drawer that houses two trash cans. The Fine Print This home comes unfurnished, the photos are to show how the homeowners utilized the space. Long term rentals only (6 month minimum); short term rental comes with monthly price increase. Renter is required to pay for all utilities, including trash ($40/month), as well as renters insurance. Renter must perform all lawn maintenance including grass cutting, as well as leaf and snow removal. Homeowner has contact information for local landscape companies, if interested. Pets are allowed, with $25 per month fee added to the monthly rent amount. Renter is also required to pay $100 for the move-out cleaning fee.
