About This Property
SEA CAPTAIN'S HOME BY THE SEA-BLUE HILL, MAINE Come spend the winter in a shipbuilder's 1835 historic home. Renovated home with gourmet kitchen, five bedrooms, three baths with unparalleled views of the Salt Pond, Conary Cove and the sea. We opened windows to enjoy spectacular water views while staying cozy inside. November 2024-April 2025 Because it is on the sea, we have found that winters here are still lovely, with blue skies that often emerge and evergreens to soften the landscape. As a community, Blue Hill stays active year-round, while maintaining the quiet of Maine in winter. Acadia may be reached within an hour and offers wonderful cross-country skiing along the carriage roads, allowing us to enjoy the season without the crowds of summer. We have a good wi-fi connection for remote work This is a FURNISHED home Wifi is included in the price Tenant is responsible for gas & electric expenses during their stay Please note this is for a winter rental - flexible length of time starting in November.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.
