Garbage Neighborhood
Potholes everywhere in the driveway, so you're gonna need extra money laying around to get your tires, axels, and brakes adjusted every year. The people in the blue building all smoke crack. There isn't actually A/C anywhere but the kitchen; it's a wall unit. The heat is baseboard heaters, but they work pretty well. They barely clean the place before you move in and will spraypaint the carpet before actually cleaning or replacing it. They tell you pest control is included in your rent when you go to sign your lease, but if you ask the guy you give your rent to, he will straight-up tell you it's just water-- they spray one line of it down the molding of your cabinets in the kitchen and their only purpose of being their is to make sure you aren't selling or growing, so if your neighbor is dirty and has roaches, so do you. The walls are paper thin and painted with a high gloss paint. They do bad patch work on the walls before you move in and the paint makes it hyper visible. The doors are loud and don't fit in the frames properly. Every step is a different size. The mailboxes are flooded with water or snow all the time because they won't fix the doors on them. If one of your breakers in your breaker box blows or goes bad, they don't even replace it, they come out and just stick it back in. They NEVER give you more than 12 hours notice that they are entering your apartment. They complain about about their water bill being high in the summer because people are taking more showers or washing their clothes more often or filling rubbermaid tubs with water for their children. If a tree falls they do nothing about it. There's a blond kid that looks about 15 that will run at you with an axe if he just doesn't like you. People's cars get broken into or get lines cut or tires slashed all the time. Some guy got a brick to the windshield from axe boy. All the adolescents and young adults living there are belligerent (except this one young couple who mostly keep to themselves and are nice as pie, but even THEY hate the landlords). I'm gettin' the heck up outta here as soon as I can recover from doing all the apartment repairs myself, I'm sick of this crap.
