Overall the experience has been okay! The apartments are not the most up to date or well maintained, but considering our base rent price, it is okay. The gym could use updated equipment. Maintenance and the leasing office have been easy to work with.
I genuinely really enjoy living here. I have never had any issues. Love the amenities offered! Maintenance is always practical and timely. Genuinely no complaints

Great place with Great neighbors I would always live here for the rest of my life if I have to. The leasing office and gyms the game rooms are all my favorite here.
Great living facility! Friendly staff! Great amenities! Always giving back! Always clean! Very helpful when asked questions! Very clear and no hidden fees!
Very nice, some minor inconvenience like with bugs, our washer/dryer but other than that I love having my own bathroom. I also love how it is close to GVSU, and also to my placement for my teacher apprenticeship

Living here has been great! I love the amenities that are available! There have been a few bumps like lack of communication but other than that its good!!

My experience has been great. The heating is the only issue that has been present. Maintenance came as fast as possible and helped us fix it

I’m on my 2nd year living at 48 west, and my roommates and I love our apartment and the amenities! We do wish there was a bit better communication from the staff and responsiveness from maintenance, but other than that I really enjoy living here!

I really enjoy living here, I’ve heard a lot of people talk negatively about 48 west but honestly had nothing but great experiences. I really like the gym here and the yoga studio for sure a plus

Staff is incompetent and slow to complete requests, the units are subpar as well. Your better off living out of your car.

48 west is in a great location with awesome amenities. I really like being in the village center because it gives a real active vibe. The place is surprisingly quiet considering how active the community is.
Solid apartments with a solid community. I love how everything is walkable and how quick and responsive the staff are when it comes to things like upkeep and repair.
The staff is good, and the amenities are also good. Sometimes other residence can be careless with the common space areas, and there is often a shortage of parking.

In general the apartments are very good! I have never had issues with neighbors or anything like that. Staff has always been friendly and helpful.

Great place with great amenities. The townhomes are nice except for having to go up 3 flights of stairs. Getting packages is a bit annoying if it isn’t delivered before the office closes. The hot tub is nice to sit in after a long day.

My girlfriend and i moved in a few weeks ago. We put in a maintenance request and they came to our apartment the same day. We really like it here so far.

I have really enjoyed living at 48 west! I have yet to really see what is available here at 48 west, but I have enjoyed it. Only issues I have had is some problems with things in our kitchen otherwise things here are great!

It was clean when I moved in here, along with the environment. The neighbors are respectful of being quiet throughout the week. I suggest this area to people who are looking for a calm place off-campus.

My dish washer doesn’t work besides that everything is great . Bathroom, bed room, living area, everything it’s all I could’ve asked for and it has a balcony

I love it here but a few packages have gone missing. I hope to find them soon! The housing units are very nice and the pool and community center are very clean.

Great space, furniture, parking, amenities, everything is great the only thing is that it seems like they do not clean or check the conditions of the townhouses/apartments before your move in.

I love it here! I think it’s a great place to stay when going to gvsu and I'm so glad I got a spot! Especially with the bus being about to go and get us to go to campus.

Nice room, great community. Lots to do while living here. The bus stop is right near my apartment so I have an easy time getting to classes and back home.

So far living here has been great! Our neighbors aren’t to loud, and the staff was extremely welcoming to my roommate and I during move in day.

Love that there are so many amenities and different things to do here! Plenty of living space, and everyone gets plenty of privacy with there being multiple rooms and bathrooms. Would've preferred to have been paired with clean roommates who don't smoke, but hey, you get what you get, right?

Overall, move in day was efficient. However, upon arriving to the apartment, it was not what I expected. Leading up to the front door, puke is stained onto every step, along with piles of insects and dirt. After entering, it became clear that there are paint splatters on all hardwood and carpet. Our laundry room door and dishwasher are broken. The light in our fridge was burnt out, and the ice machine in the freezer does not work. The apartment came furnished, yet every piece of furniture is covered in cat claw scratches. The balcony appears to be old and worn, as all of the paint is peeling off, and the floorboards are warped. It is almost as if no one did an inspection or cleaning before we moved in. For the price, the space is large, but it is not glamorous by any means.

Lots of amenities and privacy so checks out for me. I like that the gym even though it’s kind of small it’s nice when the rec is too busy or I don’t have the time to go. They could improve on listening because they messed up our lease and I am with two renewed people instead of the four people I originally planned on being moved in with But other than that seems like a nice place.

So far it has been really good! Very clean and a lot of helpful people! I am looking forward to spending the year here and meeting new people

Overall with just moving in, the people who work here have been EXTREMELY NICE! There was a little damage in the apartment but nothing horrible. So far very happy with the 48 west community! :)

Move in went very smoothly and I am happy with my new place. There was some issues with markings already being on the walls but we can just report them

Very amazing place. Grateful to room here. Love the atmosphere and the set up. Positive energy and lots to do. Townhouse is spacious and up to date.

The building is nice and my roommates are nice. I love having my own bathroom and the living space is nice. Having a balcony is a really nice perk as well and there’s a decent amount of cannot space.

Everything is so nice and much bigger than expected. The room is perfect and I love how big my bed is. It is so much nicer than a dorm that you find at universities.

Love the place, the people are very welcoming, and a super easy move in process. And the places are very spacious however there was some damage which can be sorted out at a later date

I liked it at first but as time goes on I find myself frustrated with how 48 is ran. For example, recently the internet went out and was down for at least 12 hours. There was no information given to the residents and the leasing office was closed and completely unreachable. It took contacting Pavlov to figure out that the internet was down for all of 48, and unfortunately this was not the first or last time the office was closed despite the monthly hours saying they'd be open. My problem with this and 48 in general is the lack of clear communication with residents, and not following their office hours without informing the residents. I will say the maintenance team and those who work at the front desk are always kind and helpful, but I cannot say the same about those responsible for the management of the property. Nothing personal, this is just my experience living here.

I had some difficulties with subleasing; however, the staff at 48 West was very kind, accommodating, and helpful. I'm moving in tomorrow, and I can't wait!

I love the atmosphere here, and the community areas. The pool and hot tub are also very nice to have! Dollar general is nearby, and cottage inn is super close with great pizza.

Everything so far has been so smooth to navigate and the staff has been very helpful when needed. Going through the process has been a breeze and I'm excited to move in!
