A historic small town in southern Indiana, Nashville is best known as the center of the Brown County Art Colony from 1907. Although Nashville is somewhat secluded from any major cities, there is plenty to do right in town. For outdoor recreation, residents visit Yellowwood State Forest and Brown County State Park directly south and west of town.
